Travelpro 25in Platinum Elite Expandable Softsided Spinner Luggage Review
This video was rushed and amateur. I am sorry about that, but it will give you an idea of the TravelPro Platinum Elite 25in that I cannot find any review for on Amazon. I am comparing this bag with an 18 year old Jaguar bag. But the TravelPro is the whole beginning so you can skip the Jaguar comparison if you want.
I tried to keep this video short but it still ended up being over 18 minutes. I am a real user, not doing videos for payment unless a company likes how I do reviews, haha, which I doubt. I do not do video cutting and pasting and all that, it is uncut.
Overall the Travel Pro Platinum Elite 25in is ok, but it has many flaws as I describe in the video. If you watch until the end you will understand my complaints as I compare it to the Jaguar bag.
Sorry about my rambling about the attached TSA lock, I did not really express well. I don't like it, plane and simple, I plan to use my own lock. I may use both, we will see. I am just used to it. And I feel the material when you push it is soft and eventually may damage the bag, thus I prefer to use my own lock.
Sorry also for cutting off the tops of the bags in the last few minutes of the video, I had tried to adjust my video location on the bed to avoid that, but in the end I got caught up in the explanation and forgot the move the bags forward towards the camera. I guess I have a lot to learn about doing videos.
Thanks for watching!

How to give your cat a pill or medicine using a pill popper? Video explanation
มุมมอง 492 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a quick but sort of low quality video of how to give a cat a pill. Whatever your vet tells you is not wrong, but it is also isn't right, because when you are at home, you have to do what you have to do to get your cat to take that pill at whatever cost without hurting it. Everything they tell you is by the book. They are not wrong, but they don't understand what it is like for the avera...

      They don't, sadly, yeah... I think the brand is defunct. And... it appears that the designers of the Jaguar bag went to TravelPro and Briggs and Riley, I forgot which, I think Travel Pro, unfortunately I think they lost their touch though, because the bag has too many flaws, and for the price, I don't think I would buy another.

      Sorry for my late reply, I didn't receive a notification and as you see, I don't post often. haha. I did buy the Travelpro 25in Platinum Elite Expandable Softsided Spinner Luggage you see in the video, they didn't send that to me for free. I just decided to review it because I didn't see any others who reviewed it, until after I posted my own video. hahaha, funny how youtube does that.. I feel the bag was expensive for what you get. I did use in April to go to Europe however, and it held up pretty good. The biggest complaint I have, or still have is the reverse opening pouch on the cover. so dumb. and the fact that the expansion is no where's near as good as my Jaguar bag.. But such as life...

      Hi Lisa, thanks for your message and sorry for my delay in reply, I rarely post videos so don't often see messages. I went to the Balkans in April with this bag. Four countries 16 days, four flights and lots of car rides and throwing around of the bag. What I can say for someone my height, over 6' or over 185cm, the bag is small, the Jaguar can expand more. I had to use the expansion on this bag since leaving my country. Which made it difficult to buy stuff in those countries. The Jaguar had like 5in expansion but this bag only has 1-2cm and not the entirety of the bag. It is tapered and quite a dumb design. I am not happy with this. And the bottom opening of the inside pocket is still dumb. Everything will slide out, you have to put stuff in other bags to secure it. The performance of the bag otherwise was decent. Some scratches on the wheels, both from airline and people pulling the bag out of cars the wrong way. The fabric of the bag held up well, I do not detect oil marks or anything, perhaps the airline was more careful? I am not sure. the wheels are great, but a caveat, if the airline is not careful your bag WILL Roll away. I had this happen in the airport, the wheels are toooooo good. Great to glide on the floors, but a little too well. The extra expense of this may not be worth it. Handle seems wobbly, especially at full weight. I had this thing at 28-31kg for the entirety of the two weeks. You could see the material bulging out for sure.But no internal or external damage, but probably a lot of stress on the zippers. I did not push it down though to zip it, I tried to avoid that, if it would not zip without pushing it down, I repacked and moved things around to get it to zip without too much force, but still overpacked. Long term speaking probably not a good thing. But I would do that with the jaguar too, and for over 15 years. So I don't know what to tell ya. I am still looking or another bag that has more expansion. Briggs and Riley looks like a good choice, but at double the price is it worth it? I don't know. I have heard both good and bag. Maybe better to buy a cheaper bag, use it for 2-5 years and then replace it. hahahahahahahaha. Overall the quality of the TP bag is good, I just don't know the long term quality.

    Thank You. Within the first few minutes my suspicions were confirmed. I will hate that suiter and the compression straps. They are a waste of space. I like your Jaguar. It is similar to my 23 year old Samsonite that I need to replace. The search goes on....

    • @coolhightech3742
      @coolhightech3742 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I didn't even check that in the description or the videos the company provides before purchase, because every suitcase I have owned the zippers open at the top. I am really hesitant to throw out the Jaguar, but one day it might just crumble or the wheel will fall off. I am also intrigued with the Briggs and Riley Baseline series, but the cost is double, but seems better overall, including customer service. Someone on the phone a few weeks ago told me that the guy who designed the Jaguar actually went to TravelPro, but how the top portion ended up being designed in such a way is beyond me. Thanks for your comment and watching my amateur video! :)

    Thank you SO much for recording this! My senior cat (17 years) was just prescribed kd and push of 60ml with syringe. New vet recommended 100ml 3x/wk but they will do it instead. I really hope your cat is feeling better and relaxing now and you are able to administer the shot without struggling. My cat is now almost 16 but for the last couple of years she is getting more difficult to control, she stands up during the shot or rotates, but part of the reason is sometimes I give the shot at a different time now due to her age. But really, i am so happy to hear that my video helped someone!

    The ring at 12 minute plus video is actually an anti-roll ring which prevents the light from dropping from tabletop or any surface.

    • @coolhightech3742
      @coolhightech3742 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. I think it might play several roles, because the flashlight itself is already anti-roll without any other attachment.

    I love the way you poo poo the charging dock. The Xperia Z charging port is prone to defects and the charging dock then becomes a valuable piece of kit. I want one now.....and they are the most expensive dock in the Xperia range.......wonder why..

    • @coolhightech3742
      @coolhightech3742 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL! Some people complained about the port, but I had used mine for over 3 1/2 years without issues. My battery started going first. And I had issues with the charging cable from the beginning, was replaced just after 1 day of purpose with a new one a week later. I never used the charging dock because it forces you to remove the cover. And as most already know the phone is too flexible, so eventually, in my opinion, taking the case on and off enough might have ended up breaking the screen if one was not careful. I rarely, if ever removed my protective case. So yeah, I didn't like the dock. Never used it. I now have the X performance, and frankly I want another Z. The battery in the X performance stinks, I mean stinks really bad. Had the phone for only 8 months and just after 2 hours, with hardly using it I lose 20-30% of the battery. I must either have a rouge app or the phone has issues. I'd like to get 2 years out of it before I buy a new one, but as it stands presently it may not make it that long. Cheers for commenting. Video is quite old, surprised people still look at it.

    I saw the SRT9 at the shot show It is very so awesome. 2150 max lumen and they added uv while still having the blue,green, red. On stand by mode that won't run the battery down fast will it?

    • @coolhightech3742
      @coolhightech3742 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh! They've come out with a new SRT have they? I'll have to try to check that out. It's not listed yet on their website though, so might be awhile. I would imagine the standby mode is not going to overly drain the batteries. However, before doing anything crazy with it, I would spend some time testing that.

      I am new to nitecore.I want to get a few to see how well they work. The new srt9 can be found by goggle the 2017 nitecore catalog.

    • @coolhightech3742
      @coolhightech3742 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been using Nitecore now for about four years, I am quite impressed with their quality. The only thing is on the newer models that I see that CR123A batteries are not used. I do not like rechargables as I do not use them enough to insure my batteries won't explode. From the information I see, it looks like they are using the 18650, which I have never used and I won't. I have tried to get Nitecore to send a sample of the new lights to review also, but they never answer their emails...

    • @Jaydies2049
      @Jaydies2049 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      We run our lights hard at work. 12 or more hours a night. So using anything less than 18650's would be a waste of money. Protected cells and intelligent chargers have come a long way.

    • @coolhightech3742
      @coolhightech3742 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh I totally agree with you on that. I am a basic user, where my lights sit around the house for months without being used. The 18650s are not a good option for people like me. But for you, indeed you need that otherwise it would be way too costly to keep replacing batteries. I know that the cells and the chargers have come a long ways, but for sparse usage, I would still not recommend them.

    I always appreciate when someone takes time to make a video trying to help people. Unfortunately most of the advice here, on charging, using the phone while on charge are simply false. Using a charger of a different current rating does no damage whatsoever. Using one that has a lower rating than the stock charger and also lower than the maximum draw of the device will simply charge the device slower. Using a charger of a higher Amperage will also cause no harm, the phone will draw its maximum charge current and no more. Charging of an Xperia smartphone is controlled by the kernel in most circumstances. There is also more intelligence built into the devices system on chip and the battery itself also has an integrated IC. The current is no different when charging and being on a call than when charging and not on one. The battery will charge slower as there is a drain on the device and the device may get warmer than doing any of the two things individually. It won't do anything to the charger, it will still output current as demanded by the charging intelligence and will never deliver above max charging current regardless. Chargers blow up either through defect or because they're poorly made knock off/cheap devices. Lack of proper filtering circuitry, poor quality components and incorrect amount of spacing between traces on the PCB(s) are what cause damage and fires etc, not being on a call while charging.

      Chaz Gonzales I am definitely not a professional. I am a tech lover and have good battery knowledge because I have given up smoking tobacco and am vaping. The type of vaping I enjoy requires very specific battery knowledge. It is important to keep me safe and to keep other people near me safe. There are many things the same with phone batteries and Vaping batteries including how they take a charge. I also have an Xperia Z2,.have had a Z1 and an original Z. I've used custom software on them and have learned from developers on XDA how a Sony phone controls it's charging. They are very clever people and I respect them very much.

I will say though I had issues with the SRT 3 recently, and maybe it's because I just got unlucky, but I am sending it back for warranty so it should be fine. When I turn it on it flickers, something wrong with the connections. But I rarely use that light. The SRT 7 I use very often and no problems at all, it truly has been my main flashlight now since I bought it. I am even thinking of buying a second one.
