Michael Gribble is a Los Angeles-based songwriter and screenwriter who specializes in composing for various styles of musical theater. Raised in New Jersey and a frequenter of the Upper Midwest, Michael loves to take influence from his surroundings in his writing. For his work on "The Butterflies of Love," Academy Award-winning composer Justin Hurwitz (LA LA LAND, BABYLON), said Michael did "a fantastic job," and that the "title song is beautifully woven throughout the score and then called back perfectly." In 2024, Michael directed, produced, and played piano in the live concert premiere of his original song cycle, "A Summer In Madtown," and also debuted his live holiday concert, "A Very Gribble Christmas LIVE!"
