Rod and Zach present an outsiders view of Formula 1
What the heck are Ferrari testing?
Having adopted hints of blue to "mask" their HP sponsorship, Ferrari have now conducted a test with the FIA for a new wet whether safety measure, but are they disguising their true motives?

Is Danica Patrick OK? 🦎 It's time Sky F1 fired her for “lizard people” beliefs
มุมมอง 3.5K16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
If all you know about Danica Patrick is that she's a climate-change denying, moon landing skeptic who thinks women can't cut it in Formula One... I have bad news, because it's actually much worse than that. After platforming a series of kooks and weirdos on her podcast platform, it may finally be time for Sky F1 to pull the plug on the controversial pundit.

Just do what Inday car and Nascar do.. A vehicle with a bloody big jet engine blowing hot exhaust onto the track to dry it out.. Man, f1 is such a different beast..
They look super ugly. The small guards are ugly currently, without these wheel things and the thing on top of their heads etc, it just keeps turning more and more into an endurance racer. Trust me, in a few years they wont be opened wheeled cars in any way
Both of them need professional help.
So, how are they open wheel racing cars?
🤔
From all available information HP deal is for about a 100 million a year, no other team on the grid has that kind of lucrative agreement. They might be struggling with liveries but definitely not sponsorships.
Struggling in the looks department, only made worse by those rain guards. But, gotta pay for Lewis’s next jet somehow
So they “invented” mudguards
No, they invented “stupid mudguards”
I fail to see the racism here only idiocy from two women.
Well maybe that’s something you could look more into
@@superlicensef1 I rather not tbh because it's stupid 😂
Oh cool, well at least you can dismiss the idea entirely knowing that you tried your best
They may not be lizards but there’s definitely people controlling the population
And do these people have any unifying characteristic?
@@superlicensef1 no but either way there are elites your delusional if you think different.. you should have your right to an opinion!! it just shows you can’t even talk about it anymore because people are becoming aware.. I’m sure they just wanted any excuse for her to go 😅
What she discusses on her podcast shouldn’t affect how she does her job on sky sports. I think that’s completely unfair. She knows about motorsport hence why she’s employed by sky. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion just like you are but don’t attack someone like this. Clearly you had an agenda here.
Yep, i’m anti racist bigots
L
@@Mrpidge161 no really 🤣
Ah hell no she was useless on F1.
And yet the BBC keeo lineker
Quite different actually
I don’t believe in lizard people. But being up yourself shitting on people for discussing ideas is arrogant and lame. All the crazy Covid tin foilers all turned out to be correct. I bet you were an asshole to them too.
Oh, in what way where the covid tin foilers correct, i’m all ears
@@superlicensef1 it’s easier to fool people than convince them that have been fooled
Nothing to do with covid then, cool cool
She just not that good. She doesn’t seem too prepared very often.
There is no evidence behind your argument, regarding a social construct as the main obstacle for F1. However fórmula F? Sure, go crazy! What about I-Racing? No obstacles there right?
That makes no sense
@@superlicensef1 try again?😅
I’ll put in some effort when you do. There’s no evidence of obstacles to women trying to get into F1? You’re out of your mind
@@superlicensef1 "regarding a social construct". is online F1 competition 50/50 women?
Bro yall are reaching, this is hilarious, I don’t care of what you believe, what gender you decide to be intimate with, as long as you know F1 content. She didn’t know what the heck she was talking about. Just like Martin Brundel and Davide talking negative about non British drivers, I’ll make response videos to these topics lol. You’re entertaining but give us the answers, don’t assume the public school system around the world is the same.

The car as the number 14 on the side, who's number is it?
That's Fernando's current number, why it's on the Ferrari atm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
She's trying to be nice. Danica can obviously tell she's a nut job.
Nooooooooo, that’s not what’s happening here
Great point, but far too considered and logical for Danica Patrick and her fans.
Wait, Godzilla minus one is not a documentary? 😂
We need a few actors every race weekend, which she is working, to walk around as lizard people and get her reaction on camera.
useless diversity hire...
Your video title is a bit misleading cobber
Really? I think the title is genius
Nah. Danny needs to go
That may happen naturally, but there’s no need to be a total douche while speaking on TV about it
@@superlicensef1 except there is, when you job to precisely do that. what are we talking about here? there are the time stamps and the points tables. the rest is just protecting the feelings of a multimillion dollar, 30 something years old top athlete. please...
You can offer critical analysis but you can go too far, the reaction from the other presenters (who are also doing their job) would suggest it went beyond legitimate criticism
@@superlicensef1 I strongly disagree. he was purely talking about his performance. he didn't insult him or slander him in any way. he told the truth but, as we all very well know, that's a dangerous thing to do in out politically correct dystopia.
look at JV in the early 2000s... he was nowhere.. did poorly... and was no better than Danny Ric... I think he needs to look in the mirror.
JV gives off vibes of that kid who won the science competition but gets all bitter because he still didn't get invited to the cool kids party.
Id disagree slightly with Perez comment. He's been closer to Max than any previous RB drivers. Lets be real no one will beat Max in that RB. Villineuve has a point, hes been outclassed all year by Yuki. He was outclassed by Noris in Mclaren. I like Ricciardo but hell be lucky to hold that seat. He'd want to be beating Yuki by end of season to stay me thinks. That said he is a nice bloke, good PR for RB and F1 needs characters!
Verstappen P1 in the standings, Perez P5 and nearly half the points of Max 🤷♂️
@@superlicensef1 where did every other team mate finish?
To paraphrase Jacques, If you can't cut it you go home. You don't keep going on about the first two seasons Ladies and gentlemen we present you Jacques Villeneuve, world champion in complete lack of self awareness
Cool video
1961 till 1990 was best top 6 points only less races 16 not 24
If you can’t finish in the top 8 (or ten) you don’t deserve points. It’s rewarding just being there! You don’t deserve point for just turning up!
I can't see any reason to change from the current point system. They already keep track of finishing positions and order the teams accordingly for end of year prize money, etc... Expanding the points won't actually change anything.
Teams that regularly do better than others would sit higher on points instead of sitting closer to/level with others on super low number of points. Also more to race for when teams are running out of the points
EHH Honestly I feel F1 would benifit more from 2-3 more teams then I could see expanding the points to include maybe top 12-14
30 cars has a nice round sound to it
If they would just have a reverse grid in points for the sprints. You give the back half the ability to “race” for good points.
I can’t get behind reverse grids
They would need to have a retirement rule or you'll have it be like nascar and cars just running to try to get ahead of the next car x laps down..
From 1950 to 1959, the top five finishers of each race plus the fastest lap setter tallied points. OK let's go back to it then. If we whine that they shouldn't get points after 10 then lets to back to the beginning. Back to true F1
My thoughts- points down to 20th, regardless of how many teams enter. Raise the current points for the top 10 by 10 each, then everyone from 11-20 gets 10-1 points, respectively.
Just a PR move to add made up drama. The stats have always kept the finish positions for ranking.
Sure, but one lucky 10th place when you normally finish 15th shouldn't outweigh 7 11th place finishes on merit.
I was going to say the same thing. I guess the counter argument would be that it can add random drama if this scenario happens. I bit like how one soccer/football team can dominate play but a lucky last minute goal for the opposition can swing things around. I’m not saying i want that, but can see the argument
@@superlicensef1 I also think you shouldn't score points unless you're classified as finishing the race, and if you retire before the checkered flag, it must be a mechanical failure, not a wreck or voluntary retirement to preserve the car.
@shadowmancy9183 they aren't getting points right now when they don't finish though are they?
Apparently you DO get points if you are in the top 10 even when dnf, IF (big IF) you have completed atleast 90% of the race distance. So yeah, maybe this should be changed when all 20 drivers get points. If we go only up to 15th though, idk it could stay that way.
Points down to 20th means more money from ALL drivers to the FIA
Could just as easily be charged
I never understood why it has to be no differens if you finish in a 11'th or a 18'th place. What's the point of trying. I will love it, if there was point to the first 18 finishes. It would be more fun to watch, and the teams would try to get one place forward, if they have a chance. And about DRS. Get rit of it, and let the drivers defend there position. It would give some interesting races. A race is about 2 things. Overtaking and defending. Let the drivers figure out, who is the best at what.
Yeah, i’m sure competitive drivers and teams always want every position they can get, but points is a marker for viewers who might tune in and out throughout a season (which is more likely with over 20 races) as to how the teams are doing
It'll be terrible, guaranteed.
They raced before. Ver got the better of him. Yet he was like 17-18 at the time. Today, my god it would be a bloodbath. He’s just on a different level & in the rain it would be laughable. Kids 26 & about to get his 60th win….let that sink in. Sanny’s a better version of Perez, assuredly…the best part will be the no holds barred cage match between the pops…..lotta smoke there. Grab the popcorn 🍿 & enjoy the show.
“Verstappen is good at driving” Ok, i’ll give that some thought
Multiple teams don't have an extra chassis, it's not just Williams.
Yeah Alpine too, but I think that’s it
Off topic here a bit, I can see Albon/Riccardo. Your thoughts? Here's me thinking Clare Williams was an empty suit. These boys and the 2 Chassis problem, make a great novel!
I mean… i can see Albon moving up to a better team and Daniel dropping down to a lesser team, but maybe not ending up in the same team
Yes.
Riccardo last of the late breakers now he's just last
He needs to retire
Well obviously
Why yes, yes it is.
As many races in the pacific you would think teams would set up a minor parts hub over there. The only thing it leaves is just pushing to hard but again theyre asking that of them.
Like they're 2M into the costcap with the repairs needed for the chassis... if they keep going this way do they just go "welp sorry everyone end of season, we can't repair the cars anymore, see y'all next year" halfway through the year?!
I wonder if they'll have to skip a race so that they can have both cars ready
Or just sit out this year and have another crack in 2025
