Voici une belle invention ! moi aussi, je suis un passionné des caravane pliante ... comment vous dire simplement. des Esterels évidements, des André Jamet avec leur système de pliante toile avec un toit qui se monte, des jamematics ... des jamets des anglaises, des Erka des hollandaises... le ras le bol de ma tendre épouse qui n'en peut plus de changement de caravane tous les ans ... que voulez vous, j'adore ça. alors évidement je vous comprends. et comme vous je vais passé à la réalisation, mais je me positionne sur le point de départ, quelque chose qui est lié ou indépendant. voilà quand j'aurais vu ça, je serais ok. avez vous vu cette deux CV avec un plateau camion ? cdt

How do you clean all the road spit and mud from driving through the rain and back roads off your kitchen counter and cabinets?
Hi, if you look carefuly at thé présentation video you will notice that the black Of thé caravan IS protected ( when folded) by a blue tarpaulin sliding in the awning rail. The tarpaulin has under extension in the entrance area to bridge between the kitchen and sink. I did Travel 5000 km this Summer, mainly under rain, in Scandinavia and that solution IS working perfect. In fact driving or at camp, thé caravan IS perfectly tight. Note that before designing Origami I had Two Esterel folding caravans so I used similar solutions.

Hello, yes Origami is also a good sibstitute to roof tents. I must say that I am very happy with the comfort with such a small space and the last improvements will make it even better. I expect to run a two days test soon.

I really like what you have created. The Origami should be mass produced and put on the market. The awning has been expertly designed with the right concept of being able to be used on any surface, including concrete and tarmac. If this were ever to be manufactured on a larger scale, then ideally the awning would employ air-beam technology which would help to add to its sturdiness on any surface and make set-up even simpler. Nevertheless, I reiterate that it works very well in its current form. You are exceptionally talented.
Thank you for your appreciation. Air beam would certainly be the ultimate step for awning design. I work on finding a company interested to build the caravan. It would be a perfect add up to electric car...
