MSC Grandiosa: TransAtlantic Repositioning Cruise Spain to Brazil
Why fly when you can sail? My recent 20-day MSC cruise from Spain to Brazil proved that the journey truly is the destination. Instead of a rushed flight, I opted for the serene luxury of the open seas, complete with stops in stunning ports. To top it all off, I was upgraded to the Yacht Club Experience-pure indulgence with private dining, exclusive lounges, and unparalleled service. It’s an adventure that redefines travel: sustainable, scenic, and stress-free. Exploring alternative ways to travel has never felt this extraordinary.

nothing like GBR, very murky, dull & dead
@@peanut1001x yup, some dive spots are definitely better than others. And most dive spots are better than any day in an office cubicle 😉
Happy new year my friend.
Thanks...Happy New Year to you too!
Greetings from Brazil. Boarding in Grandiosa yacht in 2 days.
@@HugoTVBR Congratulations...You're really going to enjoy it 😊
Loved this 2 part series! When did you go? I'm considering early Jan, no guide (except where required).
@@camino9152 thanks! Glad you liked the videos. I started hiking it in January 2022 also and the weather was great. No guide needed except for in the indigenous area.
did you hear about an Australian who went missing on the hike from Valbone to Theth in mid-October?
@@jillpengelley7652 no, I hadn't heard about the Australian. I seem to recall a Dutch hiker that went missing but I'm not sure if they found them.
After that come to Paraguay Brian, i will help you if you need
@@Guillemeister it's a possibility. I'm still finalizing my post-cruise travel plans 🤔
Enjoy the cruise 😂
@@ashrafelshazly3707 gracias ☺️
Amazing country man, your content is simply incredible!
@@ervinslens thanks!
Wasnt accidental dude
Johnny Sins is that you?
@@ZephyrPhotography 😂 I had to Google who that is. Nope, I'm not him...but I suppose I'll take it as a compliment 😉
Thank you for taking us along on this adventure :)
@@Dawg_House_Productions maybe some day you guys can join for an adventure 🤔 😉
Hi! Which tour company did you do this with? Im going to Palawan and really want to do this the ethical way! :) Great video!
@@laurasarikka80 I booked it through my hotel...but at 2:54 of the video you'll see the name of the tour company written in the pineapple 🍍 on the food table 😜...It's Blue Bird Tours. This is their Instagram link: instagram.com/whalesharkpalawan?igsh=MTZueDkwbXNodThqbg==
Thank you for the great video. Did you bring a sleeping bag? How warm a jacket do you need? How many kilometers on asphalt ? Thank you
@@dragajovic I did bring a sleepibg bag but I only used it once when the hotel I wanted to stay at was closed and I had to sleep on the porch. A jacket wasn't needed because it never got very cold (especially while hiking). In total I'd estimate there was about 40 kms of asphalt (most of it was at the end into Quepos).
Well done!
@@ErmittlerTV thanks! It was an amazing journey ☺️
Incredible!
Thanks for all the videos! I have watched them all! :)
@@thorfunp.8115 thanks... Glad you enjoyed them.
Very cool. A little scary too. Amazing colors of fish .
@@kristinan78 if you thought that was amazing just wait until the next diving video 😁
Oooh yaaas 😮 amazing!
They were all awake 😅
@@tirthwork9288 yes, but they were definitely not very active...kind of like in super chill mode 😜
This is how I want to enjoy this type of adventure lol
On TH-cam only? But Sharks need cuddles too 😂
This is awesome and felt like we were there with you!
You should be here... It's just a short (very long) flight from home 😅
Beautiful photography. I had never heard of that species of shark.
@@RF-pf4sm thanks. I had never seen a thresher shark in real life previously...but had heard of them because they were mentioned in the script in the original 1975 movie Jaws.
I'm going to guess that you are a Capricorn.
@@austinstitzel good guess but I'm not. Do I exhibit Capricorn ♑ traits?
Great video! Thank you. How much battery power did you bring?
@@sunesnigel Thanks! I brought only a 10k mAh power bank. Since there was limited internet I stayed on Airplane mode 99% of the time & conserved battery when possible.
I am enjoying your content. Keep up the good work! Mina videor om Kungsleden är på TH-cam nu. Den var en mycket spännande upplevelse! Kings Trail / Kungsleden th-cam.com/play/PLZagpVwkLMBSvrJq1AHrRoA5HQqrE92vy.html

Welcome to Philippines 🇵🇭
@@bisayanglaaganph4193 Thanks! I love it already 😁
Thank you for a great video! And I believe, one of the most recent of the Kungsleden :) May I ask, how did you resupply if the shops didn't have much food as you mentioned?
@@medeinabirgilaite1122 About every other STF hut had a shop for resupplying. However, I actually started with a 22kg backpack that had most of the food I needed for the entire trail. For comfort I purchased about 2-3 days of food along the way (e.g. The ICA supermarket)...but I could have stretched my initial food supply to cover the entire trail if needed.
@@BrianWithoutBorders Thanks for the reply! And best of luck on your future travels!
The STF huts have plenty of food. You can fully rely on them for all your food unless you have dietary restrictions or want to save a bit of money.
@@bjorn_83 thanks!!
ICA is NOT norwegian, it's Swedish. And the rest of the world uses METRIC. It's not a "Swedish mile" it's a KILOMETER!
@@gislemark79 thanks for the clarification. Now I'm wondering why there was a Norwegian flag outside the ICA 🤔. One of the local Swedes described Kungsleden as 45 Swedish Miles in length, which equaled 450 kms. This was repeated by other Swedes along the trail.
@@BrianWithoutBorders I know notrhing about the flag. But ICA does not exist in Norway. In Sweden we call 10km a MIL but it's not a MILE.
@@gislemark79 it's called a Scandinavian mile in english.
@@BrianWithoutBorders i think you're correct about the mile despite it's spelled differently.
Swedish mil is 10k @@BrianWithoutBorders
Love seeing my favourite place in the world 😊
Thank you for sharing. Great memories. GlenGoyne-Distillery was also one of my Highlights on the WHW. I prebooked a tour as I am also a Whisky-Nerd and wanted to be sure to get a tour. Slàinte Mhath
Another entertaining video. The people of Turkey appear very inviting. thanks.
They totally were. The further from the cities you get the more inviting they were.
Are you retired? You've been on the road forever!
Effectively yes...but I'm not the kind of person to just sit around doing nothing in retirement. That's existing, not living 😉
Living vicariously through your adventures! Amazing :)
You guys have a pretty adventurous life too. You two look so happy following your dreams 😊
Awesome, hello from Odessa! Bar "shelter"
Hello!!! Good to hear from you. I hope you are still playing and enjoying the music 🎶
Nice hike!
It sure was! 😁
Great videos! How were the currents in Komodo?
The currents when I was there in January were manageable. If the currents were stronger then we simply did drift dives & still managed to see a lot of great sights.
@@BrianWithoutBorders How many logged dives did you do before the liveaboard?
@@Taeshawol before the liveaboard I had 60+ dives.
@@BrianWithoutBorders thank you so much!
Honesty boxes! What a great idea!
While all took cash, some even had a PayPal QR code to pay if you didn't have any cash (or small bills).
So interesting! 45,000 a year it’s amazing! I think it rained less when you did El Camino de Costa Rica!
There was definitely less rain in Costa Rica. Both trails have great things about them in their own right. I definitely understood Español better than English with the Scottish accent 😜
Baa baa black sheep have you any wool?
🤣🤣🤣🐑🐑🐑 There was definitely no shortage of wool 😉
It was good to meet you on trail. I enjoyed our chat about your adventures. I wish you good travels. (I was the lady in pink)
Oh Hey Robyn! 👋 It was a pleasure to meet you & yes I definitely remember you. Best of travels to you ☺️
You're still living your best life!
We all do what we can 😊
What were the temperatures?
It was normally a high of about 17°C & a nightly low around 8°C....not too extreme.
Hi brian its kailash
Hey Kailash! It's good to hear from you 😊
I did that trip dec 2023,i had a great time.
It never stops amazing 😁
It’s not Lay Whosh
You are correct. When I recorded this video I didn't speak French at all.
Ngl, I would have kept the coolest rocks instead of setting them free.
It was definitely tempting to keep them....but my pack would eventually be very heavy. (Although I have kept small cool rocks in the past 😉)
The Lycian Way appears to be maintained much better than the Cammino 100 Torri, and accordingly it appears you are enjoying it much more . Happy Trails
Definitely!!! I think it also helps that there are far more hikers here as well. Plus, wild camping makes it more feasible for hikers of different speeds as well.
Did the goat herder speak English? Or are you fluent in Turkish?
I used to speak Turkish fairly well 20+ years ago. I'm very rusty now but I was able to understand enough and convey my message. The goat herder didn't speak any English.
I think this was your best video ever.
Thanks...you are amazing & inspiring...glad your enjoyed it ☺️
