Thanks for this reminder, it’s easy to develop a negative outlook towards the unknown. Personally I can see how I’ve developed this bad habit from past negative experiences and being on guard as a result. #OhSoFancy734 #ProcessingTrauma #SmallChanges

Love the new logo!
Thanks, Nancy! We like it too. The one we use here is the horizontal white version; there are others.
I loved this podcast! Actually listened to it twice. Thank you for the concepts of permanent white water, three rules to stay resilient, Lucy Hone’s three secrete of resilient people, and Shawn Achor’s five practices for the happiness advantage. I especially appreciated how it came back to personal actions to empower us to take control of our own resilience and effectiveness despite the conditions around us.
Great book recommendations! The names I knew are worth reading again and you gave me several new names for my summer reading list.
Thanks, Carlos!
Really interesting...great leadership guidance from a different perspective!
"...When we are able to build open spaces in the same way we have learned to pile on the logs, then we can come to see how it is fuel, and absence of the fuel together, that make fire possible ..." Excerpt from Judy Sorum Brown's poem, "Fire" This is an interesting podcast with Judy Brown's sense of how poetry connects to effective leadership!
Good stuff David! Be well.
