One of my friends is a lifelong homewrecking chad type. One thing i can say for certain that ive seen with my own eyes is this. Once they cheat for the first time, 99 percent of them get addicted to that thrill. So much so that for the vast majority the continue to cheat for the rest of their lives no matter who their with. That thrill ( lust) becomes the only thing they care about to the point that they think that lust is true love. After cheating for a few times any guilt or remorse is gone, hurting their spouse becomes fun and funny to them. When they cry, its because they fear losing what their husband provides, they fear being publicly humiliated and having their reputations damaged. But hurting their spouse, they have no regret or remorse over that because they become emotionally connected to their ap and veiw him as their partner, not their husbands. Never EVER take a cheater back, not even for the kids because not only will they never stop, every betrayal afterward will become worse, more bold and more hurtful all in the name of creating a bigger thrill to get their lust fix because after they get hooked on lust they no longer feel, comprehend or care about actual love. This isnt my opinion, its what ive seen happen to every cheating wife my friend and his friends hook up with over the last 26 years. Another shitty fact...many of his ap's he was the first guy they ever cheated with, even after getting caught and divoriced they never stopped stepping out. In 26 years ive only see 6 women out of thousands that stayed loyal to their spouse. Think about that number before you decide to commit to anyone. Also ive spoke to these wives weather it was their first time stepping out or the thousandth time, theirs a mindset and pattern in their thinking and behavior i noticed. Lets just say if you seen the things i have, heard what these women say, seen how easy and quick my friends were able to get good loyal wives to break their vows youd understand why i never go beyond fwb and never get emotionally attached or commit to any woman.Think about that before you take the plunge, thats all im saying

Never marry someone who's profesison will require them to be away from you on a regular basis. Occasional business trips are fine but jobs where they are always away from you are a red flag. ALWAYS A RED FLAG. Also male and female coworkers can never be just friends. Most affairs don't start of swinging. A lot of times they're just innocent friendships but over time they turn into something more. It's like feeding a fire, the more you put wood and fuel into it, the bigger it gets. The more a platonic friendship is cultivated, the higher the chance it becomes something more. You need boundaries people. People nowadays throw the word "trust" as a currency but that doesn't mean much anymore. Pretty sure 99 percent of people who were betrayed by their partners trusted their partners. Don't be blindsided by "trust" fellas.

practiced law for 30 years plus. Its simple, he should have immediately gone to an experienced family law lawyer who would have taken steps to have her declared a person who abandoned her child. Once this was established, he could have her name removed from the birth certificate. After that, once she showed up , he could have gotten a restraining order against her which could be enforced against her if she persisted in trying to contact them. She probably would have wound up in jail and that would have been the end of her. He really needed some good legal guidance counseling amongst other things.

Boy, this one didn't just hit the wall. It fell on her. Chasing tingles instead of starting a family when she was already pushing the envelope on that wasn't too bright and she now regrets it. Then again for a woman was pretty flakey even though she was already pushing 40 when she messed up and even now at 41 she seems kind of childish. Other people will have the love of a family. She doesn't even have a career she cares about all that much. Sounds like she is just hanging around, using oxygen. Not saying she should check out but just for a change she could try doing some good in the world and see if that makes a difference. Do volunteer work. Become involved with a church, a charity or a cause or some creative endeavour. Something with meaning instead of just moping and longing for what she destroyed.

Past or no past OP needs to confront his girlfriend about her past before they move on with their relationship. If she had been loose in the past who to say she won’t betray OP in the future. A person past behavior is a sure sign indicator of her future behavior in most cases.
