1992 : I was in a music festival where the Breeders performed. It was during the height of their Last Splash release. It was summertime. I was front of stage. Kim Deal was standing just 6 feet away from me on stage, wearing shorts, and sweating. I was 19 years old. She looked at me as if I was an annoying tit. I love you Kim Deal.

Kim Deal is supposed to be doing backing vox on some of these, but I only hear Tanya. This was available for download from Tanya's website for years. For free. These versions of these songs would have sounded great as a 2nd Breeders album. There's more space and groove in them than the 'Star' versions. I can hear how the quiet - loud, folksy, room to breathe versions The Breeders would have done with Tanya and and Britt Walford would have sounded - especially 'Feed the Tree,' 'White Belly,' and 'Every Word.'

I wonder if there is a full version of the demo of Saturday Savior. Love that acoustic intro with the different lyrics.
