Such a great challenge!

From what I've watched on Sarra's channel, read in her comments, and in watching yours, her challenge feels more positive, less stressful. So many times I (and others from what I read) felt anxious with NaNo. In America, having it during Thanksgiving time leading into the holiday season added to it. With Sarra's it's more relaxed. It's more of a "Let's see what we can do, and yay us no matter what!" :) You are doing great.

It will be interesting to compare the new Nov writing challenge to the challenge that shall not be named... your rewards system sounds fun and you should definitely earn a sizable amount if.... when you publish Press Start!

Love your realness and vulnerability. Considering the craziness of Q3 I think you handled it well. Excited to hear about the progress of Q4! And we all want to know... what kind of candy bar is it?

I know stress knocks any kind of writing creativity right out of me - words just don't come. But I have found that delving into something completely different creatively (for me quilting and singing/music) loosens up that creative side of myself. I feel sure you will figure out how to maneuver your way through this stressful time with work. You haven't stopped, you've just not accomplished all you had hoped for. That's still forward motion - and you've learned from it :)

Travelling can actually be great writing time, can't it?

It is sad how a once beloved writing event of every year becomes something that is being avoided. For November, I think I will be calling mine as the "Novel-ber" challenge, because I still want to get a new draft started.

I am also saddened by what's happened with Nanowrimo. I am still on the fence as to whether to participate at the site or not. It's hard to imagine November without it.

It was a truly bizarre statement!

I use prowriting aid and don’t have a problem with it. But I probably won’t do NaNo unless/until the drama blows over.

Really appreciate the rawness and vulnerability in this video. Inspiring to those of use who are writers and who are not... no matter what the passion, we all go through dry spells. I love the term used here "refilling the well." Double meaning for both water and an ink well? ;)
