Evidently this happened back in June. They're all empties so no rush to get things cleaned up.

Regardless of your musical tastes, if you ever get the chance to see Jr. in a relatively small venue, DO IT! Fair warning, however... bring earplugs. His two "Fender Twins" will be absolutely screaming!😮
Bang Bang Boom Boom this song is KILLER. Haters beware your squeeze may just go Texas two steppin off with someone who can appreciate a good song when they hear it 😮😂😮
Kompliment from Germany, the Old Stuff is the best Stuff
They allowed him to smoke during the interview. It would not happen today.
It's hard to believe that "Highway Patrol" was 29 years ago.
Love Jr. Brown.
Junior is the man. Big fan for decades and decades a very under appreciated and under recognized artist and guitarist great musician so glad he is finally getting his dues love y’all Hoss.
Such a cool couple...
Excellent piece, very fun!
Junior is a Gem to the music world. The best part is, he does it his own way.
I was fortunate to see Mr.Brown twice- The Fabulous Thunderbirds played a Friday & Saturday gig at Slims in SF a few years back. Mr.Brown shared the bill.. I totally felt he OWNED BOTH NIGHTS.. This cat CAN PLAY GUITAR😊
Too bad guitsteel was stolen.keep your eyes out for it
Love the cabin hope you have dried it in, and finished the rest of the build seal those logs , they have out lived their time with little help, they need a drink or two of oil based sealer or stain ! I have a 1951 Ford F-1 that I bet you would like, your old truck looks to be a dandy ,nice lifestyle you have young man thanks for sharing it with the rest of us !
I trucked a lot of miles to J B. Good times!
We saw Junior Brown one night at Trammps in NYC and Buddy Miles played the snare drum.
One of my good friends thought Junior was a novelty act until he heard him play.
The man was pure gold live.
"Ernest Tubb meets Jimi Hendrix"
That “cabin” was originally a hay barn. Wide gaps between logs to allow hay to dry.
We saw him at the Continental Club and it was standing room only.😂
Awesome awesome, they don’t make um like junior anymore
The absolute greatest ever
I’m a bit of a metalhead, but I appreciate music in any form. A good buddy of mine introduced me to Junior here about a month back and I’ve been playing a lot of him ever since. you just gotta stand in awe of him and his picking. He makes it look easy and you gotta admit he’s having a lot of fun doing it.
"What was is just as important as what is." I love it.
I was in law enforcement when "Highway Patrol" came out. We'd have to both respond to and occasionally just drop in for a walk through of local bars, and one DJ at one bar used to also be a cop. Ol' Bonnie, God rest her soul, used to have that song cued all the time and that would start before the door closed behind us. That was always very cool.
Talented showman!
Just as much of a philosopher as he is a musician.
Wow !!! Thanks for posting this - I love Junior Brown. I’m very eclectic in my music tastes (everything from Gregorian Chant to modern Hip-Hop!!), but have always had a weakness for great guitar playing. First heard his “Surf Medley” on an internet surf music playlist and chased it down. Been hooked ever since. Great to see this video about him !!
Never heard of this guy before but I'm an instant fan
This song will be played at my Wake. I was a State Trooper in the 90’/20’s, b4 I went Federal. Working for the State Highway Patrol is without a doubt, the Best, Hardest and most Fun job I’ve ever had! Thank you Junior, The former 1150-HP in Missouri 🚓.
When my boys were teens and fighting on a long drive I played my Jr Brown tape, which they hated because it was "cornball country". Punishment for them... I'd rewind "Highway Patrol" again and again, marvel at the guitar solo, sing along in my bass voice, "Justa doin my job... on the highway patrol." Good times!
Saw him last night. He still has the magic!
Still waiting for Jr to cut a tribute cd to Ray Price. It would easily be a million seller.
Oh yes, Junior is something special!
I have a dream where The Junior Brown Train & The Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks Convertible collided at the Continental Club in Austin Tejas. Now that would have been a double billing not to miss!!
Wow, I came across some Dan Hicks videos awhile back but as time progressed my memory of his name.faded so I wasn't able to recall his name when the thought of listening to him came across my mind a couple of years ago but now his band is no longer a mystery to me thanks to you.
@@sarasata 😄Hung out with them & Manhattan Transfer in Venice/Malibu a couple times. Remarkable people.
@@kurtn4819 nice
The guy is top drawer
Junior Brown - one of the coolest dudes who ever walked this earth.
I retired from a life of OTR about two years ago. This guy used to keep me going at 3 am! Now me and my dog can listen to his tunes on my front porch on a Sunday morning! Thanks Jr! CYA. Down the road!
He is one of the best. A legend.
Thank You for Posting.
Got to see Junoir in Las Vegas when it was called Boom Town Casino, Excellent performance
Love Junior Brown 👍
Wow was that Charlie Osgood from the Osgood files?
And they didn’t mention his version of "Surf Medley"!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful music 🎶 and your great song's are my favorites thanks for the great song's still playing these awesome song's in 2024
I remember seeing Junior Brown play the three teardrops in Dallas way back in 94-ish. Not a lot of folks there but yeah, we were all guitarists or musicians of some variety.
He's smokin a nice Fuentes...
They love each other.
Want him to be more popular.
Trying to pigeonhole Juniors music is impossible. His voice is old country, but his playing is across the spectrum. My favorite guitar player!
