@@chrisgrow22 There are many levels of competition. You might be associating competitions to the most prestigious level, which would be a dream for any musician. While they are on the path towards that, it’s also good that there are competitions of various levels so that more students get a chance to even step on stage and receive encouragement. I hope that you have the unwavering support and love from your circle too!

@@rl_twothreetwo Hi, I’m glad you tried! The Boba flute requires you to know how to channel your air stream into the straw. If will take some experimenting. You can look for videos from flute players who teach “how to blow into a flute” type of videos. Keep me updated on your progress.

Sure, I was playing it at the ABRSM recommended speed for this video. In the meantime, could you try using the slow down function in the video? Click on the 3 dots - playback speed - 0.5 or 0.75. Hope it helps!

Hi Ana, if you are interested in following the ABRSM syllabus, I would recommend you to purchase their scales book. shop.abrsm.org/shop/ucat/Violin-Scales-Arpeggios/1632 In a month's time, I will be coming up with my scales book which is a comprehensive collection of scales and it includes diagrams on where to place your fingers.
