You don’t need a mat for it?
Great question! Cricut designed Smart Material, for the Joy, Joy Xtra, Explore 3, and the Maker 3. Smart Material can be cut without a mat because of the pre cut material that fits directly into your machine. Thank you so much for watching! ❤
When you put the marker in, does it click into place? I'm trying this out today and the marker clicks into the clamp, but doesn't go down far enough to draw on the paper when I tell it to make it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here! SO glad I found your video, though, it's been tough to find any tutorials on using these markers with a Maker 3.
Mine does not click in. It just sets into clamp A. What size of markers are you using? The 2.5 mm does not click in because you need to remove the attachment, but the regular ones do as long as the attachment that comes with your machine is in place.
I'm having the same error and i hardly use my machines.
I'm going to continue my research on this. I've had many messages and emails from subscribers saying this exact same thing. I'll see what I can find out and do an updated video for you.
What kind of cards have you made with this kit? I just bought one and I don’t know what to do with it.
It's been a while since I used that kit. I made a little girls birthday card and a party sign with it. If I can find any photos of them I will post them on Crafters Support Facebook group. Are you a member of that Group?

At 11:40 you check to make sure the bookmark has cut thru. Had it not, what can we do as there doesn't appear to be a way to recut w/out unloading the mat? I've been chasing this answer forever...ty
On The maker 3, and the Explore air 2 Do not uload, Just repress the cut button. I hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching!

Great question, no it does not. I apologize after rewatching the video I did imply that and I feel terrible. Only machines that have a "cut button" work for that. If Cricut makes that possible I will update this video.

I do still use this printer and I've had it for over 7 years. I homeschool and it is used ALL the time. It was built to last. It's an HP Envy 5660. It is an inkjet printer and it does print,scan,copy, and photos. Thank you for watching.
For anyone that has a cinch the 2:1 pitch square holes can use this to punch paper too as it has the slits so you can add paper to ua owires as well. I just found this out and now I'm not stressing buying the big cinch.

The whole thing it isn't showing anything when i go to the canvas screen! Its showing only the text edit attach, unattach, warp, stuff like that
