"It don't pump with the heart beat" - 2 things I grasp from this.. one, it's not real in the sense of living or alive. If your heart is not beating, then you're dead. Two "beat" compared to today's music it doesnt have any feeling in it. It's death, violence, and destruction because Nitty is always talking about guns.

With false teeth.. well, think about the dentist. False teeth, crowns is a tooth shape metal put over your real tooth to prevent it from decaying, etc. So with that, Lux is calling his rhymes false or fake or flawed..

"Disney bars" all a reference to how some of the Disney characters was made along with the double of Shaq and Penny Hardaway and the Orlando Magic.. Molded pony/ put into a Shack/told to make Magic If you ever looked into old Disney cartoons, some of the characters were made in a Shack and magically came alive.. so put in a shack and told to make Magic.. also Shaq was drafted by the Orlando Magic and along with Penny Hardaway (the POINT guard) they were suppose to be a great duo (make the Magic a great team). Full circle - Lux is basically saying Rum Nitty was told to do a lot with a little. He thought by seeing the bigger picture (billboards) that it was going to be lucrative but he's only receiving (Pennies/Penny's) for what he's done for the culture..

@@yungrenny9061 i dont know how to explain why false teeth doesnt make sense any more clearly but ill try There are two layers to that line What lux is actually saying and the double entendre What he is actually saying is nitty shouldnt talk to a real king about crowns, and he should brace himself for this battle On that level false teeth is a non sequitur and makes no sense On the double entendre level it makes perfect sense but what your actually saying should make sense, and then the double entendre should go on top of it He easily couldve just ending his sentence at crowns and instead of saying “wit false teeth” said something like “think false teeth” or “like false teeth” which wouldve made sense

@ lux had multiple triple entendres, 25 line rhyme patterns with bars woven between, no gun bars, delivery. Lux rapped to rum. And rum rapped for crowd reaction

I never even called who I think won apart from the first (rum got that for sure) so how am I coping when im being 100% objective and just judging according to my standards for what I consider to be good lyricism, if you disagree with those standards cool but how am I coping when I am being unbias

I never said the ketchup stains at an all white party didnt make sense I said it wasn’t written at all similar to how rum nitty writes I acknowledged ever time I just didn’t understand something but I actually care about writing beyond just trying to understand what the artist is saying If you want to just understand what lux is saying cool, im trying to break down how well constructed the lines are and no matter what he intended to say some of them are reaches or said in a way that no human would ever talk which I consider an issue If you don’t thats fine this is all for fun but there are plenty of videos of people breaking down battles I wanted to do my own and analyze lyrics according to my standards of lyricism (which are subjective but this is all for fun it isnt that serious)

Poetry is the art of of arranging words in a way, often times unusuallly, to evoke meanings that would otherwise not be there in every-day arrangements of conversational interactions. @@papastokely5993 thats why I said this is all my standrds of lyricism in my opinion its much more difficult to rap like nitty and craft intricate wordplay while talking perfectly normal than like lux, but I give both credit for well written stuff it's just that nitty can write stuff that is as intricate as lux while also talking normally which I consider to be more impressive but its all subjective, I understand how poetry works

@@papastokely5993 the iman shumpert bar is good, it's just like I said nitty isn't less popping off now than he was before so its an incorrect angle. and the sweater bar is like objectively horrible. If nitty or any other battle rapper with a different delivery said it they would be booed out of the building. If that is an excellent line what else is an excellent line? spit fire like charizard? its incredibly basic wordplay that has been said a thousand times before so even if what hes actually saying is fire the wordplay detracts from it because its bad wordplay and now your bias is showing. I never said lux is overhyped in fact lux is one of my favorite rappers im just applying my standard of lyricism objectively
