If I needed a grain train I'd definitely keep an eye on a unit like this at auction...this one is most likely to be a low mileage southern truck obviously lol... the best ones
I just learned something on this video. I was wondering if both the 540 and 1000 rpm shafts ran together or separate. I know my David Brown 1200 had both, but the lever went one way different for each speed. Thanks.

My dad had one of these dorky little cars when I was a little kid. Thing spewed exhaust like crazy. But it holds a lot of sentimental value to me, covered lots of miles buckled up in a little car seat in the back.

Sounds like the chain is skipping on the front sprocket and you cannot shift gears without holding the brake in on these old Polaris machines
