If patient party ask why he got pneumonia then wat to say...???
Thanks for the question Jeewan. In this instance you would tell the family that the patient developed pneumonia from bacteria that had found its way into the respiratory tract and lungs. You would tell the family that his infection ultimately progressed and that it unfortunately didn't respond to treatment. Also remember, you are a part of a team. If the family require further information you can ask one of your seniors to talk to the family and offer more in depth answers.
