Very cute, thanks for the tutorial! :)
@@eliane_ysabel you are very welcome 🤗
I found this to be even more frustrating then the woobles video on it
I was looking for a stitch that would show when going thanks.
@@natalieperez2666 I hope you enjoy it!
As a beginner, I appreciate how idiot friendly this tutorial was
Great pattern😊
@@XD_Green_haired_goblin_XD thank you 💕
You said washcloth in video at end before starting project. Which is it?
I'm not even finished yet and it's already coming out perfect!! Nice tutorial ❤
Thank you for making a left-handed version of this! As a beginner who is left handed and is trying to make one as a gift, this was really helpful
I absolutely love Kirsten Holloway's crochet designs. Her designs are so beautiful and classy! She seems pretty and classy herself. I'm glad you have her on your channel. This is a very sweet challenge also.
Hi Helen, I never knew you had a TH-cam channel before!! I've been receiving your newsletters, which I enjoy so much! So happy I found your channel, have liked and subscribed and will browse your channel within the coming week! Very excited to make one of these for my partner for Christmas 🎄
My thanks.
Thank you so much!! Yours are wonderfully made wow!
Great tutorial, thanks😊
3:46 for direct start of the join.
Thank you 👍good instructions
Thanks for this, three years on 😊 This is the only video I've found on TH-cam that has this stitch demonstrated for lefties!!
I am glad I could help! I am trying to make a left and right handed version of all of my tutorials and patterns on YT (although some of the first ones didn't have a left handed version as I didn't know how to do it :P
Thank you for this video. I love your patterns and am currently making the gentle kisses beanie.
Ohhh I love that one! I hope you enjoy it too!
Great tutorial, thank you ❤ Just making the Hannah cowl, wondering how you work the N stitch in the round - I've started and finished with a normal hdc, but is that correct? 🤔
Hi Jacquie! I am pleased you found the tutorial helpful. With the cowl there is no need to start and end with a plain hdc - there are enough stitches to just N stitch all of the way around. If you do the usual ch1 (or you can ch2 if you need to for your tension to enable you to sk the first st without pulling your work), and then go straight into the N stitch (i.e. sk the first st, hdc in the next st, insert hook from the top to the bottom of the front loop only of the skipped stitch, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through one loop, YO, insert the hook back into the st you did the hdc, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through all 4 loops on hook) this will work out.
Thanks Helen, I've done the earwarmer the "wrong" way but have started the cowl now and will do as you suggest. Love the texture ❤
Thank you so much!!!!
You can crochet around those outer ribs with a different color to make an interesting double layered bag.
@@michaelanderson2166 you could!
Thank you from Springfield, Ohio USA. My daughter in law is from the UK🙂🙂🙂
Thank you for Your pattern Your explication It is so easy to fallow
Thank you for this tutorial. I am making a lined and zippered wristlet purse and the written patterm was confusing. You are right, it's really difficult putting into words this pattern. Your demo cleared everything up.
@@misselanys1219 I'm so pleased it helped you! Your project sounds wonderful 😊
You are an awesome teacher..
Thank you for this & & all, for that matter, tutorials (and in US terminology… I can do UK but my mind has to be working right to convert😜

I have bern hunting for a pattern to make deodorizer pouches and I think this is the best one yet.
@@XxItalianVampPrinces thank you! I'm glad you like it!!
I noticed my hand tends to hurt more with yarn under 😢
I just found your channel and subscribed. I am new to Tunisian crochet, I am going to make a baby blanket with this pattern. Thank you for sharing and being so detailed.
@@jimmiesaylor387 welcome! I'm so glad you found me x
@@SunflowerCottageCrochet Thank you. It's a very easy pattern to follow ❤
Lovely.
Thank you!
I love this! It's exactly what I've been looking for. I've been wanting to make something a bit different lately. Thanks for sharing 💙
Thank you! You explained everything perfectly and it was great fun making it 😊
What a great tutorial! Thank you for showing through row 3 and for pointing out what to look for in the stitches to find the bar and stitch pairs. I’m a leftie and I still found this tutorial easy to follow. Thank you!!!!!
You are very welcome! 🤗
@@SunflowerCottageCrochetI will say, after working up 8ish rows, I realized the chain one at the beginning of the row was starting to warp the project. So I frogged and then restarted from the beginning without the chain 1 and it’s looking much more even!
Glad I listened to the whole thing.
Good interview. I like the texture that characterizes so many of the Remington Lane designs. Thanks for sharing the patterns.
Jaimie awesome interview xxxxxx
I did a base chain of 135 (multiple of 15) At the end of 1st Bobble row I have 20 stitches left. My math is not mathing.Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Hi Brandy. You adjust the starting chain or count by multiples of 15. The actual stitch multiple is 15+5 if you do the math on the starting count of 200 :)
@SunflowerCottageCrochet Thank you. I guess I missed the plus 5. Third time is a charm.
@@SunflowerCottageCrochet I am trying to make it smaller. Will 15 plus 5 work?
@@brandybyrum4277 yes, any multiple of 15 plus 5 will work for this section (although not the whole Adventure Blanket CAL).
Enjoyed Jan's conmentary
Is it possibe to make this smaller?Maybe a throw size?
Unfortunately because each section is so different it would be almost impossible to get them all into a smaller size with the same number of stitches. You could use 3 weight yarn and a 4 mm hook to reduce the size though!
@@SunflowerCottageCrochet so there is not a stitch multiple for each section ?
@@brandybyrum4277 for this section as a stand alone pattern sure! Adjust your starting chain or foundation row by multiples of 28. It's in the blog post with the free pattern 🙂 There is a stitch multiple for each section individually for the adventure blanket CAL, but not one that you can use to get the same row stitch count on for each section (which is what I thought you meant)
@SunflowerCottageCrochet Perfect! I will look into that now. Thank you for this creation as well as replying to... my awkward repetitive questions.
@@brandybyrum4277 its not a problem!
Nice that the reverse side of the stitch pattern is lovely as well. I love working Tunisian crochet...well, except for the curl 😂...and this doesn't seem to have much curl at all 🎉. Going to try this right away, as I'm working on a box of scarfs and other winter wear for charity and I think this would be a great addition to my stitch collection. Thank you for a great tutorial 🤗
Thank you 💕 I'm so glad you like the stitch!
I love it! I'm using it for my chargers when i travel
What a great idea!!
Thanks for the refresh on this technique, Helen. A couple of years ago, I used this around a cocoon cardigan I made. I also did my final row in single crochet. I love the way it looks. I’ve not used it around a blanket, but now I think I will!
You are very welcome Karen! It is such a great stitch for a lot of projects! I'll have to try adding it to garments!
I'm excited to start this CAL. Thank you.
I hope you enjoy it! 💕
Thank you! Very easy to follow
I'm glad you found it useful!
Thank you so much for this pattern! It's easy, fun, and perfect for what im using it for. I'm making it a little smaller and using it for crocheting soap sacks for donations to our community.
I am pleased you like it! It makes a perfect project for donating or gifting 💕
its looks nice thanks for sharing new subscriber
