After a break and the driver changing ends. The RTC Train slowly makes its way over the switches. Until it approaches the station. Then let the thrash and clag begin!! 62 years old and still proving they're "king" of the rail's.

It’s the 2 car class 156409 is currently allocated to NT - Northern. When the 2 car class 156s were brand new 🆕 in 1987 or 1988, the original livery is RR - Regional Railways 🚃 🚆 livery. All of the 2 car class 156s have a toilet 🚻 🚽 🚾 in the DMSL - Driving Motor Standard Lavatory 🚻 🚽 🚾 , luggage 🧳 rack, bins 🗑️ 🚮 provided, no smoking 🚭 accommodation is because it’s prohibited 🚫 on all trains 🚂 🚊 🚆 , buses 🚎 🚍 🚌 , trams 🚈 🚃 🚊 , cable cars 🚠 🚡 , railway 🚃 stations 🚉 and inside the buildings around the world 🗺️ 🌏 🌍 🌎 , open windows 🪟, automatic operating doors 🚪, comfortable seats 💺, gangway throughout, a carpet, central heating have standard class accommodation only and are second generation DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit trains 🚂 🚊 🚆. The 2 car class 156s used to operate in east Anglia, southwest of England 🏴, Wales 🏴 and finally East Midlands. At present 💝 , the 2 car class 156s are with NT - Northern in the north of England 🏴 and SR - ScotRail in Scotland 🏴. NT - Northern runs its services everyday including public holidays except Christmas 🎄🧑🎄 🤶 🎅 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day. I honestly haven’t been on the 2 car class 156 trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 however I assume they must be feeling comfortable is because it’s warm inside. 👍 😄 😀 😆
Class 156 units are a much welcome addition to this line. It was the hated 142 pacer that replaced first generation Dmu's. Until the 150 Sprinter started to make its much more welcome presence felt. The 156 does cause a problem at some stations, as not all can accommodate a 4 car unit. So we sometimes get this mixture of 150 and 156.
