9 Years since this album came out, honestly every song is a masterpiece, I know Brian doesn't like them as much as the others but Selected Poem and Dark Places are two of my favourite songs ever written

It’s interesting that he had so much to say about almost every song, but just played Dark Places and moved on from it without saying anything. I can imagine that song is probably incredibly tough for him to play.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for posting this. I love it so much. I am listening to it on a laptop computer without excellent sound but I loved Gaslight Anthem and I saw them live a bunch of times and this is just so cool Thank you.
Hearing these stripped down versions of "The '59 Sound" makes me have an even greater appreciation for one of my favorite albums. In my opinion, Brian Fallon is one of the greatest songwriters of our generation, and I could only hope to ever write a song half as good as anything that he has written.
What a great set 👏🏻 Brian’s real and people can relate to his lyrics and stories.
