Thanks broski! I tried with these, but man it can be kinda hard to simply explain everything in the tools! The best way I have found is using GM persistent loadouts OR Bacon Loadout Manager. Those will save to the players ID. Go check them out!

That would be the variant character found within the faction characters. Just edit that and within the SCR you should see something like clothing variants. You can add/remove stuff from this and it will pick random clothing for the AI to use.

@@svenmartin69 Is there no way to make specific variants? Say I want one set of specific clothing to go with one specific weapon

@@hav9561 eeeehhhh I think there is a way to do that? I'm not entirely sure tbh I haven't played around with that variants setting to much.

Yeah there are a lot of vids out there that are outdated. Considering all the major changes 1.1/1.2 did almost all vids are outdated or false. Even making these Vids BI changed some things, though minor can cause some issues. If there are any major changes to 1.3 ill update these vids.

When you add the mod to your project as a dependency you will see the folder on the left hand side. For modded maps its the same process as if you are going to use vanilla maps. Just go into said mod map file, find the world (usually under Worlds folder but I have seen some creators want to be special) open it up and follow the same process.

Not really, I am currently working on a zombie project and run 2 servers (TrashHouse). The current state of Enfusion for Reforger is not a good spot to handle something like DayZ and persistency. If they fix some more coding problems and stability then maybe it will be worth it.

@@Fakeasfopopkn load a modded map I assume you are asking? Same way. Go into the mod file and in there you should see the world.

@@marcwalch2946 that's very simple. Put down a spawner, set a desired respawn timer, give them a search and destroy waypoint or defense waypoint on objective. If you want a wave attack kind of thing use gramps conflict vanilla remix mission as a dependency. He rewrote a lot of the code and included a wave system in the ambient spawners

@@svenmartin69 Hi Sven I put the Gramps Remixed scenario in dependency the problem is that it changes all my Russian factions to FIA do you know a way to get around this? So that I can keep the factions that I choose?

@@marcwalch2946 yes, even though they are FIA it's still pulling all the information from the USSR stuff. What is a little annoying is anything that is a wave attacker will be SF or KLMK unit. Just copy your units over the KLMK and SF and it will be fine. Also, if you are not doing anything with FIA go ahead and copy the USSR flag you have set for your faction and apply it to FIA.

When making this vid I think I spent around 3 hours trying to find one of the overhauls without DOF. I just gave up and went with whatever I used since it was less bloomy, DOF one included in the pack.

Not entirely. I don't think the Wasteland team will add in ATMs or have any similarity to KOTH. What is planned is vic shops, persistency, more variety in shops and more military tier vics. Yeah true...Unless you want to do the horrible thing of removing the composition of the barracks which is not fun at all. Very annoying. 0/10 I hate adding/removing compositions from the faction.

@@svenmartin69 I'm eventually wanting to customize conflict so I can replace the compositions people build with, with smaller objects. (so this way you can make parts of a large building a "base", or areas like in trenches or small outposts in forests) but how it's set up is a headache I dread to figure out lol. A lot of waterfalls that are hard for me to keep track of.

OOOOHHHHHH Okay yeah now I know what you are talking about. Never really enjoyed Wasteland on Arma 3. Felt too bloated.

Answered on Discord but for those wondering you can set multiple HQs for each faction. On game start it will select on of the many HQs for that faction for the starting point. Every fresh start it will select a new HQ to start at. And yes there is a chance for it to select the same HQ multiple times in a row because the RNG gods do not favor you.

I wouldn't call it that at all. Its not an extraction shooter. It was originally designed back in Arma 2 with DayZ zombies in mind and turned into a 3 way PVP and it just kept building off from there. I honestly haven't seen anything like it expect for "When Diplomacy Fails" missions back in early Arma days.

@@svenmartin69 it's branched away from it's ancestor, the loot system with different factions and selling stuff is still there tho So it's like tarkov RAW

Are you talking about the inventory screen or the composition arsenal itself?

@@svenmartin69 oof tbh I’m just diving into modding because of your videos man so I can’t tell you the difference right now. Essentially they changed the whole arsenal and how it looks. They added categories shirts, pants, carriers, helmets. Each in its own category and then they have a “all category” too at the top. The options are on the left side when you go into the arsenal and it just looks so much more clean and easier to use/navigate.

Wow that sounds super clean. I wonder if its a mod because I don't think that is something you can just put in. Sounds like something like how Bacon did his. I'm not a fan of basegame. Whats the full server name btw?

I really fucking love it and wish I knew how to do it for my own server i appreciate everything you do man especially for beginners like me you legit simplify it and explain it how i need I haven’t made anything yet been working on a map but I’ve been wanting to try new guns vehicles etc. just wasn’t sure how to even go about making them.

@@Dora-vg3wv eh it's not just wealth building, base building. A lot of players just make small little stashes or machine guns to ambush players. Opfor and BLUFOR mainly make the large bases. Hopefully, since tonic is seeing it, that some sort of persistent save will be in order.
