No. Those only go to 120 psi, max 200. This one goes to 4500 psi.

Yeah I covered that at one point and went full stroke, non vented piston.

Definitely lighter than my VFC Avalon box, similar weight to a cheaper v2 box just by handling them.

@primetec_cust0ms correct we added radius inside and out to help sealing in bucking and inner radius to cradle the bb

I tuned it by turning the longer nozzle down a little at a time to fit my specific setup. I got the nozzle figured out. I did get it running, but I have to run such a heavy spring and so much volume, it just isn’t worth it for me. That and it’s not as consistent fps wise. I just think it’s not an advantage over a tappet system, at least not for me.

I’d love to see your setup working and how you installed it in your gun. You seem to know a lot about it, and there’s really no install videos.

@@eisbar_airsoft As you turned down the nozzle what lengths did you try? How much beveling did you add to the nozzle? Also which of the APACHE springs were you using? What barrel length and bucking? For me the APACHE was pretty much just a drop in and then tune nozzle length. There isn't a trick that just makes it magically work. As far as consistency goes the APACHE is pretty good. if you look up JHQ Tech he has some videos on the APACHE and he also had good luck with 18.4 in a GB/Hopup setup nearly identical to both of ours. I ran an ML bucking and so did he. In one of his videos he chronos his 70 rps APACHE setup and it only has an average FPS deviation of 1.1 FPS. Which is outstanding for that speed. My AUG DMR which is built for conistency is averaging 0.6 FPS deviation.

@@eisbar_airsoft Sorry if I came off defensive I’m just really curious. I really only have a sample of one and it worked for me but if there are fundamental issues that causes it to not work at all in certain setups I would like to know so I can better help people with theirs. Besides, sure they get slightly more data because of my comments but you have completely ignored most of my questions so overall it’s not helping anyone

@@eisbar_airsoft yeah from talking with other players they can be hit and miss. You either get lucky and it works to perfection or you have to put a lot of work into them. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. In saying that though I worked with one of the best techs in Australia to get it working. We 3d printed our own custom parts to get it purring. Espiecally that pesky Nozzel. We just designed our own to get a perfect seal.

@@Timmydope I thought about turning a few on the cnc but it’s not worth my time honestly. It’s cool, but it’s horribly inefficient as far as power/air usage. But it is neat.

I did get mine to work, but I would have to run a massive spring in my SSG. So I gave up on it. I am curious to see what the latest version looks like.

@@eisbar_airsoft part of the issue could also be that they are actually designed for gel blasters and not airsoft... although they are very very similar there is slight differences... Gel balls are 7mm and dont weigh the same as a BB. Truth is, Aztech is an Australian company where Airsoft is illegal. So I doubht they really had much of a way to test it when it comes to Airsoft.

@@Timmydope Probably more truth to that. I think they sent it to influencers in the US and they went full production and had issues all over the place and had to scramble to fix it. Them not answering tech support questions seems to show they aren’t willing to try to help and is in some ways an admission that they know there are issues.

I’ve thought about making some, but they would be machined aluminum and carbon fiber. But you can get that from Minnesota Airsoft already.

Lol best explanation EVER! Yes, very frustrating. I have a short of it running the Apache (it’s short, yes). This technology has been out a while, the Apache has been out a bit as well. It can handle the springs I’m sure. DSG build’s with this thing probably need sniper level springs. Maybe I just got a bad unit…. I did explain a little how it works in this video, but I can always do another one you can watch while mowing lawns.

@@eisbar_airsoft I’ve been out of the sport since a little before Covid, I’m back and they have brushless motors,tappetless cylinder heads, centurion AA gun that’s airsoft I’ve missed a lot LOL If you need a mow in the central Florida (if not well idk) area I can give you a free mow so you don’t have to take that $120 as a loss.
