I had one of those when I was a kid and I loved that thing. All the neighbors loved it too so they was always asking me to bring it over so I had to carry that thing up and down the road all the time 😂. It Eventually got broken and my cousin ended up hooking the speakers up in the back of his camero and they sounded good in it and they lasted a long time but they finally blew one day.😢😢

I am so sorry to hear about your Uncle. He blessed you from beyond by you getting that kick-ass stereo system. I bought my Son one for his 16th birthday, from Best Buy. It was the JVC-MX- GC5 and it had the most amazing bass. It had 460 watts and the GIGA tube speakers. I'm desperately searching to buy one now. Thanks for sharing this.

My home stereo system CD player broke. Then 1 speaker quit working, then today the other speakers quit. I bought my Son, who is now 31, a kick ass JVC, for his 16th birthday. I bought the best one Best Buy had. I pd. Over $400.00 back then. I am looking for a good used JVC, similar to the one I bought him. I guess I'd have to buy used, since they don't make CD players anymore. I have a huge collection of Metal, Rock and EDM CD'S. If you know of anyone selling one for a fair price, like I'm not willing to pay more than it cost new, for a 15 yr old stereo system. If anyone knows of a good one for sale, please let me know.
