Thank you for saying that and for watching! The curtains are close to blackout and it was very dark for the kids. The crib was not provided by Disney, though they do provide pack n plays. We wanted a crib for our littlest one, and used a company called Baby’s Away (not sponsored). They had the crib delivered and ready for us at our room, and came and picked it up at check-out-it was super smooth. I hope you have a great trip!

Me too! That ride is certainly most intriguing, especially after we got a look at the ride vehicle at Destination D23 last year!

@@thedisneyworlddadblog I’m disappointed they canceled the original version where you’d fly your own jetpack seat though! But hopefully this multiverse one is still good! Most rumors say it’s basically a trackless version of Indiana jones which sounds fun

Have the best time! And the bakery is a must-do for us. I will explore even more of Shelter Cove on my next visit and report back.

The change to prepackaged options is not great; we obviously couldn’t make any substitutions on any of the food, and what we did get was not good. And Trail’s End was also good not great but it had some of the essentials. I agree that the proximity to Seven Seas Lagoon dining options makes up for it.

I understand the sentiment. I just got back from a stay in the original cabins and loved it and already miss the log cabin look. It would’ve been nice to retain that look but modernize the interior

This is helpful! We had checked in and our cabin was ready but we wanted our golf cart first. Do you usually take your luggage with you on bus straight to cabin? And if so, do you head back to Reception Outpost on bus to get your golf cart (assuming you rent one)?

We would take the bus if we needed to otherwise we would take the car since we would have one. But we have been camping with rv last couple times.

That’s good to know. If we don’t have our car next time we will likely go straight to cabin, and then I’ll head back to snag the golf cart (if we get one).

I do like the arcades and specially the one at WL-that’s a great tip. I didn’t know they had a buffet at Pioneer hall; do you remembered when and why it closed down? And that makes sense about the towels, and we just showed up ready to have fun and were expecting them to be there!

They got rid of buffet because Disney says guests wanted a quick service. Don't think that's a good reason or if that's true. I think it was good the way it was.

Got it. i would certainly prefer a buffet to the current options.

Yes, there’s a DVC kiosk outside Pioneer Hall (at least on weekdays). I agree that the rustic charm is gone, which is a shame, though I am very impressed with the modern, updated feel. If only they would’ve added some logs to the exterior, or something that reflects the existing cabins!

Hi! The answer is yes and no. APs need a theme park reservation to enter a theme park before 2PM. On weekdays after 2PM APs can enter any park without a theme park reservation. On Saturdays and Sundays, a park pass is required for APs at Magic Kingdom even if entering after 2PM; this weekend requirement does not apply to EPCOT, AK, or DHS. Hope that helps!
