He is such an awesome guy! Awesome to know that he decided to continue the relationship even seeing how scary CF was. OMG you had purple hair on Rocky??? You two matched! Scary to think that at one point you wanted to give up, but so glad that you didn't stop your meds! The question about thinking of your death was so deep. Definitely an emotional one.

This seems so convenient! I hate having to prick my finger. I am a huge wimp and it takes me forever just to press the button for my finger to get pricked. I seriously go through some mental states before getting to the point where I press it. Then there are those moments where I finally press it and it doesn't brick through the skin. Serious such a simple and useful device.

Got to say, your gaming setup seemed better here during this time. Reverse contact precaution sounds like a really useful procedure. For some reason I like the shower just being able to drain the water from the ground. Stay strong! It is so sad that things like this happens to people and here I am too concerned with things in my own life without even a second thought. Conflicting meds sound like a nightmare! Does that still happen to you often now?

lol that intro... you didn't look weird at all Such a scary thing ... when in the hospital, not being able to interact normally. When your not in the hospital, is it still difficult to interact with people? How cautious do you have to stay even when you are more at your "best"?

Hi, Darra. One of your videos came up in my "recommended videos" to watch. I am a single, 65 year old woman. I have 2 daughters; they're both cats, Noel and Mamma Kitty! :) Anyway, You have been through hell. I will pray for you (there's power in prayer!) I watch another person's channel who also has CF. It's called the "Frey Life." This woman is 30 years old and was born with CF. She and her husband are getting ready to move to Durham, NC, because she needs a double lung AND a liver transplant. They needed to move because they currently live in the Boston area and the hospital that would be willing to do double transplants is in North Carolina. Anyway, this woman started taking a new drug called VERTEX. I don't know if you have heard of it. The way that this medication works is that it changes the "CELL" structure. So, she has been taking it for a little over a month and her PFT number has already increased 14%. Now, I am not a doctor, but I was just wondering if you had heard of this new drug. Hello Darra. I just found you, this video. You are the first I’ve met with MAC like me. I have been using Aricayce for a few months now a recent CT Scan shows the progress of the bacteria has stopped. Very accurate video info. Major Pharmacy in Texas ships me a new box every month. I pray to the Lord everyday. 😇

Hi Darra and Kristi: this was a very interesting video to watch. I was diagnosed quite late in life (28 years old) with CF (largely because my parents were kinda teenage numbskulls -- whole other story), so I cannot imagine what it was like to live with this disease -- both as the sufferer and the parent. It's heartbreaking, really. However, I am so happy to see that you have thrived, Darra. And I hope you both have many, many more years together -- perhaps take comfort in knowing that I am now 40 years old (as of March 2019) ... yeah, that's pretty old :) You can do it, Darra. And, I hope that I'm still around to tease you for being such an old lady when you reach 40 years old!

So proud of you Darra! You are beautiful. Keep shining like you do through the storms of life. Every time I meet up with you I’m blessed by your kindness, positivity, and your gorgeous smile.
