I think men should post atleast one pic or change relationship status to show they’re not single. They don’t have to post all the time. Failure to let the relationship status be known means they’re either not proud of their woman or they are unsure about her and want to keep their options open for other women. Sometimes, out of respect for them and yourself, you need to keep distance (unfortunately, some parents are truly abusive or toxic). I would say, understanding how a person has processed and navigated the conflict is much more telling. Vice versa: some people let their parents dictate their lives and relationships and show a lack of boundary in that sense. Them being in relationship with their parent does necessarily mean it is healthy. Great content tho!

All you need to succeed is a positive mental attitude. It's the law of attraction. Experience dictates that it takes the same amount of time to meet a suitable partner through an app as it does in real life. I can't stand the gym and everything that comes with it. My idea of exercise takes me to remote locations, so it's not exactly an ideal environment to meet anyone. So, for me real life was heading into town on a Friday and Saturday night which is great if you're young. Actually meeting someone was tough. I'm not really that forthcoming. The second time I was single I was a lot older and had no friends available for nights out. So, I tried online dating. I thought about joing some activity groups, but imagined I'd be restricted to the number of singles in that group, which deemed non productive. Meeting someone through work wasn't going to happen and neither was hanging around a supermarket with ready meals for one in my basket. You need a dedicated pool of known singles. That's what a dating app is more or less. The dating app was hard work. It was much more labour intensive and it required more effort to actually meet anyone. It was a lot more fun, but it was often very disappointing. Take the rough with the smooth! At least I wasn't sexually frustrated for those 9 months 🤣 I'll say the dating app wins. I didn't pay to use it which probably made it a bit harder, but I had plenty of time every evening and met a lot more people.
