Great narration and music, btw, I really enjoyed listening to it! I was trying to think of a story for the first day of fall that wouldn't take me forever to write, or to read. But here's one related to Riverdale Rd... "Akbash" In the winter of 2006, me and my friends went on the long drive down Riverdale one night. It was me, Ryan, Alex, and his brother Jake. We were all a bunch of pranksters, and quite fearless when it came to sneaking in and out of places, or checking out local spots that were supposedly haunted. (I think we were all solid believers, although I was the more rational, skeptical one) Side note- We were all a bunch of little assholes, too. I had lukewarm interest in this, since I'd been down Riverdale at night a bunch of times with my brother when I was younger. (It was a spooky drive that kinda became relaxing to me) But my friend wanted to check out the "Gates of Hell". I knew nothing about the folklore of Riverdale, outside of petty stuff like bloody hand prints that supposedly appear on street signs, and all those other, very high school rumors. Alex and Jake were in the back, and they were just along for the ride. As this was more just what we did for "fun". I was driving, and Ryan was in the passenger seat, telling me about the legends out there. He mentioned the red truck that chases you, and some other things I was skeptic of. It was a cold, stormy night, and I do recall it snowing, although fairly light enough that it didn't affect the drive. Ryan was looking for these gates, which I knew some of the residences there had the old-timey gates to their property far away from their actual houses. We pulled up to one that stuck out, and parked on the side of the road. It was a frigid winter night, and the guys got out to smoke a cigarette. However, I didn't care enough about any of this to even get out of the car. After laughing and conversing, they got back in, and we kept driving further down the road. (The gate Ryan inspected was about 2/3 of the way down Riverdale) We got to the end, and I could see the highway ahead of us. Ryan told me to pull over, since there was another place he wanted to get out and check. I pulled up on the shoulder, and I think Alex and Jake were kinda checked out at that point. (Alex was kind of a jack-off, and he didn't take ANY of this stuff seriously. Jake was a little more introspective, but I think he fell asleep in the backseat a few times) They all got out to smoke another cigarette. Alex and Jake were talking, and Ryan was elsewhere, looking for some other thing. However, I was still in the car. So while Ryan was out of sight, I saw a big white dog walking along the canal bed that ran alongside the road. I didn't think much of it. He gets back in the car, and said he didn't think he found the place he was looking for. I mentioned seeing the dog, and he freaked! I'll never forget seeing the panic on his face, and the complete physiological change from feeling safe, to see that something was very wrong. He said, "We need to leave right now!" I didn't question it. I flipped around where the road ends at the highway, and I sped past the spot where we stopped. While I was leaving, I asked him what was wrong, and he just said, "That's one of the things, you see a big white dog appear..." He asked, "Did you see where it went??" And I said, "No, I saw it only once, then it just disappeared..." And I was the only one who saw it. Once we calmed down a bit, we were all looking for where it went, and we never saw it again. We all made it back home, and nothing strange happened on the long way back into town on Riverdale. I wanted to share this little story, because looking back, things didn't add up. I saw it as plain as you'd see a white dog at the park. In my mind, I was relaxed, and didn't think it was anything out of place. But in hindsight, 2 questions stick out to me- One- What the hell was is doing out there? Then, two- Where the hell did it go? It was 2am on a cold winter night, why would a dog be wandering around out there? In my mind, I just assumed "maybe his owner's around, and they're out for a walk..." But we never saw anyone, and we weren't near any houses. Then of course, it just disappeared. It was right next to the car, too. Just maybe about 6 feet down in the gulch. Looking back, I'm convinced it was a spirit of something. I'm reminded of the paranormal experiences I've had in my life, and I've learned that apparitions that appear aren't going to be like the stuff in horror movies. They won't be dramatic, like a headless animal walking around on its hind legs. (which is one of the local legends out there...) They're going to be more subtle, like an owl that flies in front of you in the middle of nowhere. Or in this case, something out of place like that.

Such garbage rumors about this on this home, in the 80s the home is where the Las Vegas bar association was located and I knew that because I had an attorney that had an office there. This house is so easily recognizable to those of us who been in Vegas for decades.

With everything happening the past year, Zak has been completely silent and hasn't said a word about any of the people talking about him.. Been a fan of the show since the beginning but I do believe some of the things said about Zak.. He used to post a lot more on Instagram from what I remember, often with his dog Gracie! But if he is an ahole or not, I respect the fact that he hasn't gone after the people that were criticizing him!✌️

My husband and I, and a good buddy went there,and and things happened to us and us. I will be happy to tell you, it was crazy and real!!! Definitely be careful and don't be ignorant or disrespectful of this place. I will go back,because its definitely cool!!

Ghost Adventures was great because, for years, it felt like a ROAD TRIP....they would change plans on the fly, interview people they met etc There was a "what will we find" feeling about it.... AND it was THREE totally different personalities; Level Headed Nick, Scooby Doo Aaron and Nutty Enthusiastic Overly Intense Insecure "I've got something to prove" Zak.... AS SOON as zack the ass got rid of Nick, he turned EVERYBODY else on the show into WHIPPING BOYS. zak RUINED the extremely rare, valuable Chemistry . Nobody want's to watch some Authoritarian ass hole bully people around... The show used to be about "friends" hunting the paranormal together on these trips....zak turned it into "zak's latest DRAMA" eff that. the fool stands out in front thinking he's the "star" Totally Oblivious to the Fact that millions see him as the dope who WRECKED THE SHOW It'll take a while but he will end up Nowhere with nothing....the museum will fade then close, it'll ALL go away

Zak gives off bad , narcissistic vibes from day one.

Never had the luxery of being a skeptic for the most part. Skeptic or not, id like to have the full experience of this place myself one day.

Carnevil has a cool style but the damage is so cheap. The boss behavior doesn't reset at all when you hit them, so there is no realistic way to avoid damage from them. Makes it less of a "game" and more pay-to-win.

His "museum" is totally fake. We went last year, and it is interesting to see the items stored there but it's not haunted. In one of the rooms you could totally see they had certain sections of the flooring would vibrate making visitors feel a certain way. They also tell you to turn off your cell phones because it interferes with the special effects features. If it's truly haunted you wouldn't need special effects. Again the general idea of this museum and items inside are cool to look at, but definitely not haunted.
