Railway videos from the 1990s/2000s.
I started watching trains on the Lickey Incline at the tender age of 4 way back in the days of steam. Have been photographing and videoing the railway scene on and off ever since.
Locations include, The Lickey Incline, Stafford and Crewe on the West Coast Main Line, Newport and Cardiff in South Wales and Dawlish in Devon.
Huge vintage diesel fan and go to as many Galas as I can.

2968 and 7325 are seen powering round Whitford Curve, Sugarbrook near Bromsgrove , really going for it in preparation for the stiff 1 in 37 climb over the Lickey Spectacular smoke effect !

An afternoon of freight ( 9 in all ) at Leamington Spa 27/04/2000. 66 108 MGR, 47 345 Liner, 60 036 Stone, 57 003 Liner, 66 186 MGR, 66 215 Land Rover Cars, 66 219 MGR, 60 002 MGR, and 47 370 Liner. 66 215 and 219 look to be not long off the boat.
Newport & Cardiff Railway Stations 24/07/2000

A trip to Barry Island was planned on a sunny day in July with stop overs at Newport and Cardiff. Needless to say the sun disappeared not long after leaving home . I well remember being the only person in South Wales wearing shorts ! Sheds are taking over but blue 37 375 makes an appearance.
Bromsgrove / Lickey Incline Winter 2000-01

A variety of passenger, parcels and freight workings filmed in the Bromsgrove area during the winter of 2000-1. Locations include Sugarbrook, Garringtons and Vigo on the Lickey Incline. A working of note is 6M15 Toton - Round Oak steel , which for a short period in February 2001 was top n tailed due to temp lack of run round facilities at Worcester. Classes 58, 60 and 66 were used.

The bulk of this clip shows the movements involved in getting the 5C01 St. Blazey - Penzance m/t TPO stock out onto the main line. In the second of these clips 67 020 has to be replaced by 67 012 , hastily summoned from the depot, the former having been failed with a faulty window and drivers seat.

Various workings along the sea wall at Dawlish and Teignmouth including classes 60 and 66 on freight, 67 on parcels, Porterbrook 57 601, various 47s on passenger including one hauling failed HST and finally BR Standard class 76079 on the Dawlish Donkey.
Bromsgrove/Lickey Incline Freight Winter 2001-02

A variety of freight workings through Bromsgrove and on the Lickey Incline at Vigo. Featuring many different liveried 60s, including the GWR Green 60 081, pairs of 67s on additional Xmas parcels and 20s on nukes.
