What you run your bale compression at in straw to accumulator
Thank you for the tip. I’m trying to decide on my next set of tires for my RAM 1500 4x4
Is there a special tool for needed for a 2023 Kfx90? Manual says contact dealer, special tool needed
No I just did it to my daughters 2023 same procedure
Okay hearing it from someone who has mud on there truck and pulls hay. Some people just have trucks that have never touched a dirt road and say such and such tires are the best, I listen to one of those people and bought a set of Goodyear Wranglers 25k miles later and already having to buy another set of ten ply tires. Thanks for the video
Do u have the monitor/stroke counter review?
Just curious do u run the tractor in 540e when your baling?
Thanks for review , makes me reassure after ordering a set !
Noisy after all that wear?
just curious can u put gps on this tractor?
Best tires I've ever had. I will not hesitate to get them again, will easily compete with the best winter specific tires out there.
I agree
Lol where you from
What size are these as shown in the video and is your truck leveled?
275 60 20, yes leveled.
Thank you for sharing!
What size you running? lt or p rated?
These were 275/60-20 LT, just replaced them with Falken R/T 275/65-20 LT
@@lanefarms6237any problems with shifting due to them being heavier? I have 3.21 gears but looking about buying these
No issues
@@lanefarms6237let's us know about the RT's please. I'm torn between the AT3W's and the RT's thank you sir.
Nice thorough review. I priced out new holland, massey, and deere when I was shopping for a new tractor as well. Massey seemed to have the best price for the best specs. I ended up getting a 5710s, which the warranty just expired on and is now tuned to 120 and has the def delete I was really looking at the 5R, but it has an inferior transmission, lifts 3k pounds less on the 3 pt, has lower hydraulic speed, etc etc, and somehow costs more.
What kind of tune did you use?
We are thinking hard on going to this system.
What was happening with the arm that you replaced and added the roll pin?
I did an experiment on 20 acres with Teff this past summer for hay. I live in deep south Mississippi. I planned it right at 10+ pounds to the acre and broadcast and then cultipacked. Made beautiful stand but the yield was much lower compared to other grasses like Bermuda and Bahia. The biggest problem was although I cut it 4" high and had to buy topper shoes for my mower to do that but I had very little regrowth which was very disappointing as I was planning on more than one cutting. Luckly I had a fair stand of volunteer crabgrass come in after the Teff failed. I liked how cheap the seed has compared to others but I am done with it for hay purposes in my area.
Just caught your channel.......Mostly follow hay producers......This is our 6th year......We round bale everything and convert to small squares before, during, and after the season.... We just swapped over from a NH/ Bale Bandit to a Hesston/Bale Baron system...... Wishing for you success in the coming year...
What about kuhn service sucks?
Kuhn Equipment cares nothing about their customers. We have a Kuhn round baler and keep having problems with it making loose bales. Kuhns wont help our dealer and told us to go through the dealer when we reached out to them. I have a Kuhn disc mower and love it but I know their customer service wont help any.
@jasonvankooten3049 @lanefarms6237 Keeping an extra belt on hand is a good tip. We are always available to help you trouble shoot. Sometimes local dealers will have parts in stock but if not we can ship them to you directly. We are farmers as well so we know what it means to be shut down for a day. And just to clarify Kuhns Mfg is now Norden Mfg. We make the hay accumulators, grabbers, tie grabbers, and now a new wheel rake. Kuhn North America (without an s) is the company that makes disc mowers, manure spreaders, speed rakes, rotary rakes etc. Our last name is Kuhns (with the s). Our company, ownership, and products are all still the same but we changed our name to Norden Mfg to minimize brand confusion in the ag market.
@@karleenkuhns3908 yes ma'am we keep extra belts and springs on hand.
You might have cut that belt too short it shouldn’t be that hard to hook up
Maybe, made the new 1 and the spare a little longer.
Just stumbled onto your channel.........We are in the Small Square business in Central S.C.
Hey man I’m in east central Ga I’m reading up on this teff I’ve got a Alecia field that been over run with common too. And I’ve got to do something. where do you get your seed? And once you drill it, do you need to replant every year? Or is it like a rye grass that will die out in our summer heat? Or if I planted it would it last several years in a hayfield? Or would you just replant my Alecia/common field in something like coastal or Russell?
We buy the seed from Southeast Agri seeds in Rome Ga. Do your homework before planting it. It's very very picky about how its planted. It's a summer annual plant.
@@lanefarms6237 thank you for your response. I’ve been reading up on it and thinking about trying it next year.
Small square baler?

Good video keep up the good work. How’s the barn coming I saw the post going in on FB.
