Plotting Lines on a Graph
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over plotting lines. This is the second step after learning how to plot points in the previous video.
1.) Solve for y (isolate on one side)
2.) Find 2 points (any points is fine, but I like to pick easy points)
3.) Plot those 2 points
4.) Draw a line through both points
Just remember, don't mix up your x and y coordinates.
Thanks for watching! Please drop a like and subscribe to my channel. Don’t forget to let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.

Plotting Points on a Graph (x,y)
มุมมอง 1414 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over plotting points. This is the basic step before you get to graphing. Hopefully, plotting points is as simple as it should be. 1.) Start at the origin which is (0,0) 2.) The left number is the x. If its positive, count that many steps to the right. If its negative, count that many steps to ...
Translating Word Problems Into Inequalities
มุมมอง 4821 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over translating word problems again. In a previous video, I went over translating word problems into linear equations. This is very similar but we are translating to inequalities. The overall steps are the same but you need to identify the keywords that translate to an inequality sign. Most o...
Solving Inequalities with One Variable

Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over solving inequalities. This time, I only go over solving inequalities with one variable but in a different video, I will cover multiple variables. There are really only 3 main steps to keep in mind of: 1.) Simplify both sides using properties, PEMDAS, etc. 2.) Add or subtract from both sid...

Translating Word Problems Into Mathematical Equations
มุมมอง 38หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over translating word problems. These are some of the problems that my students hated the most. The point of math is to work with numbers and symbols right? Trying to avoid all these words but the word problems have so many words! Well, keep in mind that word problems often provide way more in...
Solving Linear Equations (Step-by-Step)
มุมมอง 104หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over solving linear equations. This is one of the most misunderstood things in algebra. People are often scared by it but its actually much simpler than it looks. I go through a couple different examples that show how to use the below steps. If you're ever taking a quiz or exam and the teacher...
5 Cases of Dividing Integers

Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over integers in more details. Specifically, I will be talking about dividing integers. In basic examples, I will go over these different cases. Case 1: Both numbers are positive Case 2: Both numbers are negative Case 3: 1 number is positive, 1 number is negative Case 4: Dividend is 0 Case 5: ...

Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over integers in more details. Specifically, I will be talking about multiplying integers. While multiplication is supposedly a more complex operation, these 4 cases are quite simple to remember. In basic examples, I will go over these different cases. Case 1: Both numbers are positive Case 2:...

Comparison Operators for Algebra and More
มุมมอง 383 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over comparison operators. These are a few symbols that you will see commonly in algebra. You'll also notice some of these common comparison operators in other applications such as different coding languages. The 8 most common comparison operators in algebra are: greater than, less than, great...

Nice video, but if you stand infront of the board while you teach people won't be able to see what your writing so just one small correction..else it was helpful, thanks!
Thank you, this helped!
okey.. let me make it interesting for you some metaphysics.. the matrix (math - tricks) is the number 10 (the digital code) whilst 1-9 are the manifested or the simulated dimensions of that matrix. Each with their own 9 realms (3 for each of the physical ie pelvic/torso/head - sentimental/astral -mental/causal - psychical/spiritual) ie the reason behind the multiplication of this trick. Adding both digits for the same reason behind magic squares - using 9x will eventually lead to sum of number that when adding both its digits would lead to 9 funny enough. Substracting 5 (the number behind the 5 primal elements outside the matrix) will always bring down the 9 to 4 (the actual number of the natural elements inside the matrix). One could have said to subtract it by 6 or any number and would still lead to the one same number and then all one requires once that same number is concluded in every possible answer is to invent any other gimmick to lead to any same answer again. However the universe truly works this way as shown by this example coincidentally or lucky enough for you. The last multiplication behind 4x4 is really the symbol behind the 4 elements creating every other force inside every realm within that dimension meaning wood/lava/plasma/vegetation/soil/ice/etc (making 10) plus the ones in their pure form representing the 5 primary ones and the nonelement itself ie the oneness/source/dust inside that realm
dont tell this to your valentine :_)
Thank you, you are a life saver.I can’t believe the 60 year old prof with 35y+ experience couldn’t explain this in 2 hours and you did in 8 mins…

is it possible to find with just the x or y intercepts itself
@@aswhoorf As long as you have 2 points, you will be able to find the slope. The 2 points do not need to be the x or y intercepts.
I found you at best moment ever! I literally need to learn the bare minimum of it all to pass the cbest math portion this December 😮
Would this short solution be acceptable on an exam?
Underrated
during math, can we use blank sheet paper ?
Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos and go through each problem of the CBEST practice test! It seems like the key is making sure to read exactly what the question is asking for. It's easy to miss that so once I know that it helps. I am now going to brush up on scale & ratiio, adding and subtracting fractions, and decimals. I feel pretty good about estimation problems. Thanks again!

Hi

Thanks so much!
super simple and straight to the point explanation! Thank you ! 🙏
what does the f or function do in this form
Wow thanks
Vertical asymptote means limit y tends to infinity. So the denominator should be zero. And for horizontal asymptote means limit x tends to infinity.
To be good at math, you need to be accurate thats it
dy/dx IS A FRACTION of infinitesimals !!!!
00:00
For "implies both ways", i.f.f. (or iff ?) can also be used, which stands for "if and only if".
Can you use a scratch paper?
