Man I still remember playing this in late 2005, early 2006 when I was 10 turning 11. Such a pleasure. The apartment almost gave me hotel vibes. There was a vacation-esque vibe to it that just is really calming and has wonderful vibes. I love that adding a bit of sillyness to the ultra-serious tone of Half-Life 2 works because that dark tone is so strong that the sillyness doesn't eclipse it. This allows there to still be some believability to the world. It's like "Morgan" is in a state of waking from sleep paralysis, so much of what he sees has a comical overcoat when hell is actually breaking loose. He's caught between a dream and reality. This mod is a wonderful ode to mid-2000s and 1990s culture. I get punched in the face by nostalgia when I hear Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder because of the end of this mod. Again, it continues that vacationy, blissful, everything-is-right-in-the-world vibe. I suppose the mod is a nice juxtaposition and escape against the political turmoil of the War on Terror and everything else going on back then.

Смотрел ещё в детстве этот мультик, когда мне было лет 10, в 2008 где-то. Перевод другой был. Попался на диске у одноклассника, и после просмотра очень боялся этот мульт.

Случайно наткнулся на этот пульт в каком-то топе, решил нарыть про него информацию и посмотреть. Удивил тот факт, что этот мульт сделал всего Один человек в 2006 ГОДУ. Буквально все: сценарий, рисовку, анимацию и даже саунд дизайн и саундтрек. Множество мелких деталей и не хилый лор, что раскидан в газетах которые читает.. старик? В одной из газет говорится о новой форме червей, что не так быстро разлагают жертву, появляются галюны и голоса в голове, а также ускоряет процесс старения организма. Если посмотреть на водительские права старика, то на них указана дата рождения 1985 года, а на момент действий мультфильма проходил 2006 год, следовательно ему должно быть примерно 21 год. Значит старик уже заражён.... Нах я это написал и потратил свое время?
