Since joining Concordia back in 2004 we have achieved several successful projects with l'Association des entrepreneurs en maçonnerie du Québec (AEMQ) on testing reinforced masonry structural elements that led to enhancements and effectiveness of design of reinforced masonry structures.

Dear Sir, I'm research scholar at Indian Institute of Technology. My Institute doesn't have this experimental setup. I have done most of my work using simulations but couldn't get it published in good journal because of the lack of experimentation. Can I do these experiments in your lab? Thank you very much for this great video. What is the acceptable height that a reinforced masonry wall can reach to until it needs to be horizontally restrained (buckling effect)? Is there an equation? I am searching in the standards BS, ASTM etc and cant find it. Please help
