I bought this as a double album And Not Or / For To Next back in the day on the strength of his work with Simple Minds as a producer- some stonking tracks on the albums, but this is the best one by far.
If you look at the totality of Hillage's work over his career, guitar or not, it really is on a different level than many many other artists who are more widely known and celebrated. I love the videos of him back in the day, just such a look of pure joy on his face. I discovered him in '79. Would be psyched if he made it to the States one of these days. Hell, he could play on my back porch all day if it were up to me :) OM

This is pure CLASS!!! You carnt hear it on PC speakers but there is a brilliant bass-line running through this track which Hillage dips in & out of with his superb guitar solos. Anyone whos into this type of guitar based instrumental Space-Rock should also check out UK Space Rock band Ozric Tentacles.
