We wonder,-and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.
Okay my friends, I admit, it has been a very long time since I've provided something useful on this channel. I hope this helps a little, it's certainly not my best one, but my longest instead. I've drawn inspiration from the poem cited above.
