Will have 4x macro filter in the future ?

Does it take other brand square filters like nisi, haida, K&F which has 2mm thickness 100x150mm??

i have haida red diamond 100x150 grad nd.. does it works with this frame??

For true cinematic experience you should switch to 144p.

Thanks and very practical. I’m sorta interested in a VND/CPL solution as I’m off to Namibia next year where it seems the desert plus intense southern hemisphere light is fecund ground for blown highlights. I am an avid CPL user already and BTW will be taking my XF 16-55, 70-300, and 8mm (and my GRIII but that’s different)! If I do go the VND+CPL combo route I’m unsure if I need it for all 3 lenses and am leaning to dedicated filters rather than “stepups”. I’ll also be taking most photos just after dawn and approaching dusk so maybe just the CPL. Not many waterfalls in Namibia!

Dude, nice video and good information. This is my situation and what do you suggest? I have three lenses. Two got a thread size of 67mm and one got a thread size of 52. I got a black mist filter of 67mm and then got this H&Y revoring filter of 52mm - 72mm. How could I use it on the black mist filter with the Revoring variable adapter ring on the 52mm lens? Did I order sth wrongly?

Would you mind sharing which lens you are using?

Such a great idea….until you brought up that you’d still have to buy multiple to cover a large range. Since they probably cost about 800x a step up ring, this can’t be worth it until it covers a larger range.

No magnetic adapters in 2023 ???

Step-up rings come in 5-6 sizes as well. Here, there are 3 larger-sized rings, and they are more expensive than the step-up ring. I'm not sure how sturdy this tension mechanism will be. It would have been great if there was just one ring that could fit all lenses. But now, I'll have to manage 3 different rings separately.

Hää? 8 different lenses, 8 cheap stepup rings to 82mm and thats it.

i hope you make max size at 95mm

I think they have to have that tension so that it doesn’t randomly fall off in the future from the tension loosening up.

I have a filter like this and unfortunately it is full of fungi on the inside. Is there any possibility of opening it to clean?

I don't understand why it's showing us how to use it instead of how the video looks when adjusting it...

annoying music when you are trying to watch the video. The music adds nothing, but it certainly detracts from the video

Not sure how I ended up here but it really bugs me that the audio is offset by a tiny fraction of a second.
