This channel is showcasing media content being produced as part of two large water research projects, 'Co-Creation of Indigenous Water Quality Tools' and 'Ohneganos - Indigenous Ecological Knowledge, Training, and Co-Creation of Mixed-Method Tools.
The primary objectives of these research projects are to harmonize Indigenous Knowledge and Western Science to improve environmental governance and management. By integrating Traditional Ecological Knowledge and indigenous values, we are calling for water justice - encouraging people to respect their water and to treat water with compassion and empathy. Uptaking the responsibility to take care of our water will be critical for safeguarding both the future of the environment and humankind.
These projects are funded by Global Water Futures - the largest university-led water research program ever funded, worldwide.

The elder who said we must be more loving is right...there is so much hatred in this world, I don't understand it. Thanks for sharing their words and their wisdom. Love from Germany.
Great job, this is the best video I've found on this under appreciated and under acknowledged topic.
Hello, is there someone I could speak with to get permission to use the elders speech on Wahkohtowin?
Sooooooo trash

I dont give a god dam what ur so called treaty rights are...TREATY SHMEATY...these wagon burners go into Manitouwadge every August and take anywhere from 20 to 30 moose every year and say its for the elders...YA RIGHT! I know they are selling it. The reason moose is on the decline is that very reason. Its time our government put just as much effort into putting a stop to this abuse as the abuse they claim has been done to them!!!!
Love all your knowledge of traditional herbs and applications in daily life🥰Thank you so much for sharing Bertha❤

Thank you for sharing. I had the opportunity to view a rocket launch in 2018. Incredible experience. I posted a pretty fun montage of the journey to my channel.
Mark Vincent Wood, please email those changes you suggested. I’ve seen this once before. And yes I see the new material you’ve added. Thx
Awesome! <3
Really cool
Thank you for speaking on this topic, interviewing Quannah and posting this video. I have nothing but respect and reverence for the nations and nature of the “birthplace of the world”. My home in North Dakota was forever changed by the oil industry. I now live North of Anchorage. I don’t mean to be dramatic, but Alaska is truly “God’s country”, not for human consumption, and I truly feel it’s worth great sacrifice to honor and protect.
My mom told me when I was a kid that Cattails are a solution to cleaning pollution fast and all swamp plants.
We have a history with the Vikings here in Mi'kmaki, we also have a history with the knights templars, their battle flag is our Grand Council flag but in reverse. When the king Edward sent European here the European turned against their own freemasons and conducted their own secret society. In our history copper was a element we used long before European arrival, we have 20k year old copper scrolls to this day. What the freemasons done is create their own history hidden in canadian coins starting with the copper penny which has our sacred maple leaf ( 1st century) (jesus Henery christ times) , the 2ed was the nickel 5 cents is the 5th century it also has the image of our kluscap legend of the giant beaver sitting on one of grandmothers island here in Nova Scotia Canada, the 3rd is dime 10 cents for the 10th century which shows the first arrival of knights templar, the 4th is the quarter 25 cents for quater century which was the 2ed arrivals of European that wiped out our elk food source, the 5th is the dollar or loonie which is the half century and has the kluscap legend of giant loon, the 6th is the toonie 2 dollar coin 21st century, which has the star people story of the bear in the stars and baby bear which is also apart of our creation story. Our petroglyphs show us where the star people are coming from space to protect us which is the cluster of stars they call 7 sisters stars. Omoramora has been seen in our galaxy. A medicine man named Mike madaywin came from the great lakes Ontario to open the door here in the east through ceremony with my dad and uncle who are Sundancers and pipe Carriers.
That's where I'm from Eskasoni FirstNation. ✊
Hanna Martin is good friend of mine, supported us on the fight against Alton Gas here in Mi'kmaki. We stopped the gas company, they took me to supreme court of Nova Scotia filed an injunction against me and my partner. We ended up getting freedom of information and reviled the companys plan is against the law. Lol I took over their compound and planted a garden on the companys driveway and farm lol.
Greetings from White Whirl Wind Boy, Us Mi'kmaq people here in Nova Scotia Canada have interpretation of our petroglyphs and hieroglyphs say the star people are here in this generation and the star ship is coming the 7 sisters star direction, the ceremony to awake our Kluscap up was done, the bigfoot spirt and Jaguar spirt revealed them self's. Emsit Nogama All my relations.
My name came from sundance in rose bud south dakota from movescamp family.
I was surprised to find this on TH-cam. I was on that Unity Ride & Run in 2004. Started off in Sioux Lookout came all the way to 6nations. When the the word Jidwa:doh comes up I'm the one on the right all in black.
peace and prayers to all

I really appreciated how well done this video is. As a relative newcomer to Caledonia (from Kitchener), it put together many pieces I knew to be true and added more. I think I understand the bigger problem better.
Tina, that poem... what POWER. Wow. Love it. Thank you for sharing.
