How We Fixed the Road to Our Farm
Improving infrastructure is the first step toward progress, and for us at Kwabla Farms, that means tackling the road to our farm. In this episode, we take you behind the scenes as we clear the first 3.5 kilometers (2.2 mile) of the 13-kilometer (8-mile) stretch connecting our 100-acre farm to the surrounding community.
Agriculture in Ghana often faces the challenge of poor road networks, making access to farms and markets incredibly difficult. With determination and teamwork, we transformed an impassable path into a road that will benefit not just us but also small farmers in the area. This road isn’t just for convenience-it’s about creating opportunities, building connections, and paving the way for growth in our community.
Join us on this milestone as we share our commitment to sustainable farming, community impact, and overcoming challenges. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to have you with us on this journey!
What We Covered in This Episode:
• Current State of the road to our Farm
• Clearing 3km of the 13km of our Farm Road
Why Sustainability Matters:
At Kwabla Farms, we believe in nurturing the earth to feed future generations. Our farming methods are focused on sustainability, organic practices, and creating a healthier planet, one acre at a time.
