I am a beginner in studying mandarin and I like to sing. I am confused a little because I am not sure about pronunciation if I can hear is properly. So, in singing the 4 different tones are not used? The pronunciation of the lyrics follows the melody ?
Yes, tone changes when you sing, so just follow the melody. You can practise with pronunciation series in this channel to help you improve : )
@yangwoodmandarinchinese9607 xiè xie Singing in chinese needed a specific singing method or technique? In the other video the melody sounds unique as TH-cam form the notes and it is beautiful.

When When I moved to Taiwan, the first Chinese which I heard regularly were the voice recordings that the elevator plays when the door opens and closes, and announcing the floor, ect. It would be nice to have a video explaining all those phrases, because I practice hearing them every time I take the elevator in my apartment at at work.
