On 8/15/14 two suspects attempted to rob the owner of the Maryland Fried Chicken on Ribaut Rd in Beaufort, but were repelled when the owner fired his own legally carried handgun at the suspects. On 4/13/13 a white male, accompanied by a young girl and another adult male, stole items from a vehicle parked at the IHOP at 266 Robert Smalls Pkwy.
