Nobody do this exercise. It has torn tendons written all over it.
While it is certainly not for beginners, I don't see how any exercise that is properly loaded with an eccentric focus can be viewed as something that would tear tendons, ligaments, or muscles.
you don't start these with single leg, nor even full ROM with both legs lmao. practically any exercise is safe if you manage load and intensity correctly, e.g., jefferson curls.
High risk for an exercise that can be easily done safer with other exercises.
