Generative AI systems are proliferating and shifting practices of image-making. But they are also fundamentally reshaping the Earth. AI is one of the largest planetary architectures ever built by our species, requiring vast amounts of energy, minerals, water, data, and labor. This talk will contend with generative AI as a fundamentally metabolic technology - burning energy and consuming water at an exponential rate to keep the ingestion, digestion, and production of data going. By placing this moment in a deeper historical context, we can see how this shift echoes previous eras when empires harnessed technologies to centralize power.

Volume is so low I can’t hear this. Can you adjust it? Others are ok in this series but low volume. I checked on my end.
First. From the US. I can't believe how badly the white man in Australia treated the original native people of Australia and took their land.
Loving the ponderings of dissociation as an artform... thank you for articulating that!

Thank you for sharing, what a brilliant lecture.
An informative and illuminative lecture, with all kinds of extensions.
Great ideas 💡 here.
Start at 1:05 to skip the ludicrous and vomit-inducing "land ackwokeledgments"
Ironic that in a lecture pertaining to visual art with slides the videographer is unreliable to, at the minimum, pan to the image the speaker is notating.
Towards the end of this video, there is digital interruption. Is there a full transcript of this talk? Nia:wen. Thank you.

I can taste colours 😁 Neon colours taste bitter. Pink to purple colours are sweet, the brighter the colours, the sweeter the taste. Bright pink- purple colours taste especially good with subdued yellow to orange colours, but only when they're mixed with white. When they're mixed with brown or black, it doesn't taste very good. Avoid black whenever possible. Dark blue to dark green colours taste kind of like fried onions, especially dark blue mixed with purple tastes like burned onion. Bright green grass and blue sky also taste quite good.
If you are feeling your partner might be cheating on you, but there's no definite evidence. You're faced with two alternatives seek out the facts, or to turn a blind eye. Selecting the first choice, although often suitable in the short term, is incredibly damaging for your personally, But for your children and family, not only in the long run too. Seeking the truth out isn't simple either as I mentioned before, technology had made infidelity much easier to conceal than in the past, however it also provides opportunities for revealing getting the evidence needed to establish them & affairs. I hate cheaters, my husband never gave me a reason to be suspicious until I found him and her colleague at a romantic restaurant. They told me it was work stuff but something wasn't right. I was worried until I was introduced to darkebprohack who offer Remote Installation to the his device, They build a web Dashboard for monitoring, 24x7 monitoring (Live GPS), They also gave me full access into the Social apps (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc. There service is 100 % Anonymous, SHA-256 Encrypted Data, They also recover all Deleted Messages and Data you can contact via gmail ultimatehack003@gmail,com or whatsapp +17202954268 wishing you the best
