I love this! I had a question. I plan to car camp for six months and thinking of bringing my 12 yr old indoor cat….starting this July. My biggest concern is his safety when there will be times I leave him unattended in the car. Is that safe? What temps is too high/low? I probably would want to do some day hikes without the cat and obviously run errands, etc. All suggestions welcome

6:55 The jump down the hill at washougal has NOT changed since the 80's. It was exactly the same all through the 80's. In fact about 70% of the track is EXACTLY the same as now, the only really noticeable change since the 80's is that the start area is on the other side of the track. So it really makes no sense that this guy says they made the downhill jump in the mid 90's, it was there at least 10 years before, and exactly the same.

That watering and all that grooming must be a lot of work. If you want nice, smooth, flowing tracks, just pave it and run street tires. Think of all the work that you will not have to do. No more bulldozers, watering trucks, irrigation systems, or hand shovel work needed. But you would get complaints if you did not keep the dirt swept off of it if the wind blew a bit. The tracks are already ruined, all the same. Just pave it so the manufactures can stop making the MX bikes that no longer make a profit, and just use well suspended street bikes. Same thing, right? You national track owners should have stood "Your ground". Just keep paying taxes on the property, but you no longer own it.

Daughter raced the WML race in 96. 7th of 38 1st moto. Crashed hard 2nd moto,dnf. Packed up, ready to leave and a gal comes up looking for Hally Whitecotton. She had her money. I told her she dnf but she said they paid by the moto.120 bucks! Still have the envelope!

Great group of people. Been coming since the 1980's. In 2019 rolled into the town of Washougal at 9AM and it took until 12:30 to get parked. Please get the cars parked quicker like in the past.

First time I went to the shoug nationals was back in 2006. I was 13. Good ol days watching Rickey and bubba duke it out.

Got my hat pins in 2015, came all the way from New Zealand. Great memories
