If you are ever in Tongariro on the North island of New Zealand you absolutely have to stop by Tongariro river rafting....one of the best days I've ever had and the staff there are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Fantastic! Check them out tongariroriverrafting

    Did this back in the early 80s when I was living in NZ. Just a wet suit, no helmets - what a blast. Next time I went they got me to skipper a raft ! My mate took his hunting rifle, we shot trout in the creeks, the old lead spinner trick. Thx for sharing, great memories.
