A few Pendolinos at Preston (Class 390's). Nice to hear the engine aswell.
These are very frequent at Preston, serving Edinburgh, Glasgow, Euston and more.

These have fantastic fixtures, chime and voice. I don't think it was a lock fail, It was most likely the door not closing properly - don't know. This lift is absolutely amazing. I believe it remains original apart from a fixture panel change, because there are two panels, and the Windcrest auto-dialler has been fitted. SCUH an AMAZING and OLD EVANS LIFT at Beales in Southport. I believe there is also a Pickerings lift but didn't see that when I was in a rush. I have detected the microphone static noise issue and unfortunately there isn't much I can do about it, I'd either have to sacrifice the good camera and use my old phone, or use this one and put up with it. These lifts are fairly small for a hotel of this size. They are breaking down quite a bit, but the hotel is on with fixing the issue. this has never been a h&m, it was french connection and is currently & Other Stories, the reason why it has h&m hand sanitising stations is because & Other Stories is owned by h&m
This is the exact same lift as in my father’s workplace, it just doesn’t include the automatic opening doors and the button outside is to the walls that surround the lift Also I have the power of 999 - 1K I’ll just leave the like so no one can steal my power

yes, breakell very good company based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Build to a very good high quality.
I like the door operator (in this case it's a GILGEN FD20), because it's quiet. The other day I saw this model on a double-door and it kind of sounded like a robot.
These lifts are incredibly old and are probably getting modded soon considering their age but i ADORE that voice
I always see OTIS van at the Trafford Centre. It's a shame they'll get modernised. To be honest, it would nice if they just fully replaced the lifts, and kept the drucegrove voice

Nice video! Shame some have been replaced, perhaps due to the fact that quite a lot Schindlers (late 90s onwards) have some issues with certain components, etc., results in mods.
At least it didn't get a stupid modernisation, and got full replaced by a good reputable brand. 😄
