I have a client that wants a mold proof wooden pallet, this is the first dealing with this situation, and i been told light wood is better for that then heavy wood, and HT should be enough, any tips?
To mitigate mold, long dry cycles (12+hrs) are recommended. This removes the moisture from the wood and makes the environment difficult for mold growth.

Fuck heat treatment become a fumigator like me
New pallets this new pallets that. Why not talking about the damage that the pallet industry is doing to the environment. Instead of praising what new pallets can do (which everyone aware of), find a solution for treaded pallets that we spent thousands upon thousands in tonnes going to dump every year.
Here in the USA pallets are one of the most recycled products there is. I don't think English is your first language that is not a criticism I am guessing where you are the pallet industry must be different from the USA. Pallets move the world and are cost effective if the lumber had any value it would not go into pallets some business would pay more for it. We grow far more trees than we take every year and have for decades.

It all depends on the heat treat chamber the pallet company used to heat the KILN. It's common for companies to use natural gas.

How long the heat treatment certificate last. 21 days or 3 months.
If the pallet has been properly heat treated, and no new wood components have been used, it will never expire. However, as soon as wood components are repaired or replaced, the pallet is no longer considered a certified heat treated pallet.

How do you identify the type of wood used in a pallet?
Typically softwood species are less dense and more porous than hardwoods. However, it's hard to tell until you start exposing yourself to different types of species. This article has a pretty good video that might help! www.thisoldhouse.com/watch/how-to-identify-hardwoods-and-softwoods
My question is were to buy the runners and slats to rebuild the old pallets?
You can buy the components from your local sawmill! If you're buying in small quantities, you'll have to go to a home improvement store.

Do you sell most of this as mulch or bio fuels? Have scrap lumber all the time and trying to find a way to reuse(sell) it verses throwing into landfill. Lumber I have is from new home construction that is not painted or treated.

Ground pallets would likely be the highest grade wood pellet raw material due to quality of wood and moisture content.
