Modern British Engineering at its best, what a joke.... give me a Merc Econic with a Zoeller back end any day.
They are a lot better, but so needs improvements as someone that works with a Denis truck five days a week
Absolutely Brilliant series - well done to all the team and what a fabulous team we have. :)
Po pozdrawiam kolegów po fachu
What type of bulbs do the low and high beams take?
That's Brilliant - Well done the both of you and the training sounds really exciting and innovative :)
Wow one of my councills bin Trucks is in this video the one where it says takeaway we wont these type of trucks where i live do missed bins didn't know staffordshire council owned them though
yo bro’s a singer 🧑🎤 😯
Dennis Eagle broke my back. The ride is so horrid like probably back in 1950's. It is like riding a hammer jack. Million wheels jumps on a tiny unvisible bumps on the road. The truck should be use to check smootheness of runways, not to drive 300 km per day, collecting bins. The wheels bouncing like crazy, fast corners are death wish, rounabouts after rain is deadly as the truck skidds. The seat is I think made of wood, with an inch of foam. It was ok at first 10 000 km, but now I am refusing to drive it. Possible I would lose the job. The service did not seen anything wrong with suspension. Yeah as they never drove it on a country lane or over potholes and drain covers.
One of the worst suspensions going.
Best looking bin person I've seen!
Utter crap, we have a fleet of elite 6, and the new 2024 pluses. Expensive rubbish. Very unreliable
Starting my loader job tomo properly excited
Wish y'all great success in the US
Great
Keep fit my loader has a job to walk after a round. On avrg 17 miles a day on the round 10.5 tonnes in 2.5 hours. With one loader we are being screwed.Ihave been doing this type of driving for 16 years now and they want more and more out off us for the same money Stay safe guys.Something ready to break soon they cant keep pusshing. While paying countless managers.who know jack shit loads of ££££££££ for doing jack shit
Is that first one pagey cakeys dad
Yeah
Dennis promo, LoL. Bags of shite when they're new. Seriously dennis, sort your shit out.
You want to get the cameras down at my place you’d have a field day, these guys ain’t seen nothing. Try black bin week down higher broughton in Salford you’d be on bricks
Thay never do a hard job In my day we had to go in back yard pick up the bin empty it and take it back Now thay are on wheels and if the lids up thay won't take it
That would be 2 men doing 750 houses each with at least 2 bins per house in today's money, you aren't doing that in a day! 😉
I saw a female binnie a couple of months ago here in Milton Keynes, not the first one I have seen over the years but quite a rare sight indeed, also haven't seen her since so dunno if she lasted? hope so she was easy on the eye :)
i work as a binman but at a different depot they certainly do exist but the harassment they get is not nice really makes me question if its worth it for them?
Why aren't the bins on the edge of the kerb like the council policy says??? Lazy public
She,s a good sort...good vid too
Cringing to watch
23 years as a driver for a local authority . The driver is right it has its stresses, mainly due to politics , noise complaints and unrealistic targets based on how fast you work, instead of time and motion and safe systems of work. That aside i stuck with it because of the hours. Being a class 1 driver, i know what its like doing containers and general haulage and 15 hour days and nights out are the norm. Could not go back to that again. Saying that, i did think about leaving due to the cost of living crises and the fact councils are in a bubble, where they pay in council bands and not what the going hgv rate is. So our wages were way to low for the job we were doing. That has been addressed, due to the fact they could not get any drivers, because they would not apply due to the low wage. That has now been addressed. and the pay reflects the hours and job we do. So the balance is just right now and now drivers are applying for jobs.
Can u do Doncaster pls as we have Dennis lorrys

Piece of pommie crap 😂😅😅

Here in Australia we drive Dennis elite 5 side loader garbage truck.. my issues all the shiny surfaces alot of reflections.. but great to drive easy to handle very solid on the freeway.
she looks perfect to me
Do the beacons automatically disengage over a certain speed yet? The number of wagons on the road with the beacons on while travelling shows drivers don't understand the purpose or operation of beacons.
I love my job best job
On the mobile while tipping wheelie bins 😮 really
Empty bulk bins by hand ? Off your heads , driving around picking up fuck all by looks
Good lorries ? Aload of scrap , 6 till 2 as well 😂, and not as easy as it looks ? It's Not slave labour 😂😂 try loading by hand and bags off the floor , you got it a piece of piss

Me too I'm a driver/loader good money but the job is shit
How much money do you get
£50 a day so a year is about £25.000,driver £30.000
@@Binlorriesofdoncaster What type of maths is that 😂😂
As a driver i am on 30 K task and finish max hours 37, realistically less than 30 hours a week
Love the new trucks, I drive them daily and they are an improvement on the predecessor. However I often work in poorly lit areas which are a pain. I would like to see the introduction of a downlight system along the sides and better reverse lights on the rear.
Crap lorry’s
Seems a lot of effort to just collect waste whereas a container can be just flung in back within a minute.
