This level could have actually fit into canon simply if the millennium falcon wasn’t destroyed It makes sense that the rebels would have a frigate on standby to try and take the remains of the superlaser and for Vader to stop them after he regains control of his ship, even the imperial giving Vader instructions makes a point that this wasn’t a victory but merely salvaging what they could from a catastrophic loss It falls apart simply cuz of the falcon being destroyed, not just because Han and Chewie are alive for the rest of the trilogy (obviously) but also cuz let’s be honest, Han is a far better pilot

You cannot deny that although Sega absolutely smashed it with Star Wars arcade and Trilogy, Namco captured something really special here. A beautiful and immersive arcade game.
