Blue Foreigner - Constant Love
มุมมอง 1688 ปีที่แล้ว
Lyrics: Could love resist? Could love wait? Could it evolve? Could it erase? Could love grasp The dreams of mine? Could it be whole? Could it be any harder? Once I breathe Once I cry Once I live Once I die Fill the gap Of my design For twice I call Could it be any harder?...

Pink floyd number inspiration.
One of my most favorite groups 👍🏻
Damn John Wesley is legendary.. his voice breaks the 4'th wall. And of course Steven's solo Performance is peak!
Was introduced to the song via the first version many moons ago lol. Can't find it anywhere other than here. Thank you
Fadeaway
Dude! This is fuckin’ awesome!
Vuelveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee John Wesley xd
Preferisco la versione con voce wilson.
"Hit heaven far too high"...been there, done that. I had never heard John sing Fadeaway until a few years ago, and as much as I love Steven's vocals, John's is truly incredible for this song. His vocals give a much more ethereal feel that is perfect for the song. I have listened to the "re-formed" Porcupine Tree enough to know I really prefer the group when it was Steven Wilson, Edwin Colin, Gavin Harrison, Richard Barbieri, and John Wesley. There was some kind of magic those guys had when performing live that always blew me away, and I miss it. I'm sure Steven gets tired of hearing this, but that's how I feel. The new lineup is just missing that magic. God I miss the old Porcupine Tree, but nothing lasts forever.
Well, for me 2022 in Berlin they were magical :-)
Yeap. This song is one of those moments of inspiration from the gods. Perfect!🙏
Fadeaway belongs to my top 3 of my all time favorite songs. Just Perfect.
And John Westley "owned THIS PERFORMANCE",Sounded so West Coast/The Dead.4 sure
Steven Wilson ,is the "son of David Gilmore" 4 sure.
JOHN WESLEY, never Forgotten.
We never did.. He is a legendary vocalist/guitarist in my point of view.
I always loved the song with Steven's voice...until I heard the live version sung by John Wesley, and I nearly passed out. Wesley gives the song a bluesy, sexy feel with his voice, makes it more folk rock, it's just haunting. Oh my God take Wesley back in the band guys, he's so missed!!
Wesley for Imediate Reinstatement,please. SJW.
Folk Rock? Are you high? :D just say blues.. that would be enough.
Chulada!! Gracias por el video carnal!!!
12:13
Steven's best version is #2 (for vocals), #4 for instruments. Jonh Wesley has never been given his due for his contributions to the band, and the best version of this song (with Gavin). I hope they will bring him back, along with Colin (but that's another story) 🤔
Right on Brother.
John Wesley has the perfect fitting vocals for this song, but gosh I cannot deny that Ninet Tayeb would've sounded AMAZING on this song too!!!
I'm sorry but Ninet is best for Hce album and next Sw solo albums. This song is different, it needs a male vocalist.
‼️ all of 'em
Sensacional ♥️
Best pt song
This is my FAVORITE Porcupine Tree song so THANK YOU for Posting this GEM
Damn, Wesley is the right fit for this song. Such a shame he's not back for the new tour.
Wesley is the perfect fit for this song. no comparison.
I prefer Randy.
Negative. I much prefer Steven's original voice.
Hi Black, perfect job. Of course, the third version is the best. Thank you very much for that.
Third version would have been the best if they didn't remove the flute (14:26 - 15:03) I don't know why but without flute the song feels incomplete
Man, up until today I only knew the album version with Gavin Harrison. Which I absolutely love, it's probably my favourite PT track. But listening to the other versions here, especially the first with the thin electric drums, really shows what magic there is in this track. Love that first (and the second) version. Prefer the cleaner vocals of the first one, though.
My favourite version of Fadeaway is the one in John Wesley's voice! That's dreamy and spooky at the same time... I get a chills down the spine feeling every time I listen to the Fadeaway in Wesley's voice!
Cool!😊
The best version is the first with the electric drums. I love Gavin, but he destroyd this song with his drums. The electric ones complete the song.
Gavin Harrison is the heartbeat of Porcupine Tree. You must not have seen them live ever.
Chris Maitland was a dam good drummer ,as well. Period...@@agtbruinsman7190
Am i the only who prefers Wilson's vocals any given day?
Yes. But that's ok. It's still a great song either way.
No. I agree totally with you. I love the emotion in Steven's vocals 👍
Wesley's voice sounds like it matches with the ambiance and sounds like it's fading. Wilson's voice sounds somber and melancholic. For that reason, I like both versions, but I do think Wesley's voice is more beautiful here and that might be why Steven allowed him to sing it live.
Wesley’s voice in my ashes is amazing, but I prefer Steve’s voice in this song
John wesley is just as good Just different
1.- Non-Album version | Electric Drums 2.- Album Version (Up the Downstair) | Electric Drums | Think it's remastered 3.- XMII live-in-studio Version | John Wesley Vocals 4.- 2005 Remaster and Remixed Up the Downstair Version | Gavin Harrison Drums 5.- Live Acoustic
On which disc can you find the first version?
@@Bogdanux not sure, i think it's a single version, the clock of burning sky is missing at the beginning in contrast with the second version (that's why I asume is not the 'up the downstair' version), but the song is the same
Gracias Ricardo
thank you so much for this!!!
My favorite is the XM2 version with John Wesley on vocals.
Wesley got something in voice 🤟😉
Yes! Fadeaway in John Wesley's voice sounds dreamy and spooky at the same time! I love that version the most.
Wesley is different :) but Steven is.. another level.
Thanks for uploading! So, version 1,2,4 and 5 are obviously sung by SW and version 3 is sung by John Wesley. But what are the differences between versions 1, 2 and 4, does anyone know?
PCmaatje You're very welcome :) The first two tracks are pretty much identical, but the tiny difference is that you can hear the tic-tac clock sound at the beginning of the 2nd track. Also the quality of the sounds in the 2nd track is better for it's remastered. In the first 2 tracks SW used a drum machine, while the 4th one the drums line is played by Gavin Harrison.
Black Ligic Thanks a lot!!!
Like .3. You can hear the metronome.
@@blackligic2939 Where do u get this versions?. Can you post timestamps in the description?. Thanks for this is awesome
