    Bom Marcio, somente uma observação no meu dashboard do nod-red no momento de escrever o topico no nó mqtt precisei ao inves de colocar "Iotsant" inserir "wgnology". parabéns pelo conteudo

    ola, por acaso vc já fez um projeto usando o raspberry c/ codesys controlando uma placa MCP2515 pela rede CAN ?

      Desculpa a demora. Não foi utilizado a placa que vc comentou. Os equipamentos estavam operando em rede ethernet/IP...

    Primeiramente parabéns ao projeto! Se possível estou com dúvidas sobre a parte física de um projeto que preciso executar na Universidade (TCC), se puder me ajudar ficaria extremamente grato! Tenho um Raspberry PI comunicando com o CodeSys, mas não sei como acionar dois pistão pneumáticos 24V e um motor 24V que precisa rodar nos sentidos horários e anti-horários!!! Se puder dar qualquer contribuição ficarei muito agradecido.

      Desculpa a demora. Vc teria que encontrar um shield 24v para o rasp ou utilizar transistores como chave para ter o 24v. Rasp opera em 3.3 e 5v...

    Great, looks like Raspberry Pi is able to communicate over ProfiNet! Can someone provide information how to setup the ProfiNet on the Raspberry Pi? That will be my next hobby 😁

      I believe there is a library in node-red to use the rasp as a profinet master device...

      No. It was just a test to observe the potential of codesys and a raspberry together.

    hello thanks for a nice example , im having simmilar setup just with kuka robot but im having issue when i add profinet device and ethernet IP device. PLC get stop on exception, did you had same issue ?

      Have you tried to increase the time of the profinet communication task?

      @@marcj42 i think im on 30ms on task i will try to go higher. Im kind in the dead end and with other issue with profinet/interbus coupler makes me totaly depressed 😂😂

    Hi dear, First of all, thanks for sharing such an amazing video. Actually, I wanna control the motor with raspberry pi. While the motor is connected with siemens frequency convertor. Is it necessary to use PLC?

      Just a raspberry pi and a convertor are enough... The raspberry can be your "plc".

I wanted to simulate ABB IRB 4600 with 888-3 Profinet Device interface ( at Virtual Controller in Robot Studio) unfortunately when i was scanning for devices i didnt get any results ( RPi wasnt found). Can you give me some advice please (at Codesys i couldnt find ABB Profinet device neither) ?

      Hi, Real time system means that you know (or have an idea) how long it will take to finish the processing of a job/routine. You could say that PLC is a real time system device, for example. From my experience I recommend you use a light Linux distro without unnecessary applications like games, office tools, etc. By doing that you generally get good results. Good luck in your projects!

      It is a palletizing system. The AC drives control conveyor belts that delivery the products to the robot. I removed the original PLC by a Raspberry just to present it as a college work.

    Olaa,, meus parabéns pelo projeto mas não entendi a função do Notebook. O raspiberry pode rodar o codesys eliminando o Notebook ?

      Olá. O laptop foi usado para a programação dos equipamentos e por fim foi usado para simular um equipamento genérico em modbus. O raspberry roda o CODESYS runtime, não há a necessidade de usar um laptop pra isso. O runtime pode ser baixado na codesys store. Abraço

      Obrigado pela resposta. Fiz uma comparação de um raspiberry Pi3 com clp de médio porte e achei muita vantagem no raspiberry. Na sua opinião, utilizaria um raspiberry na Industria tal como esta aplicação que você fez ?

    Obrigado pela resposta. Quero controlar completamente um Robo ABB 6400 totalmente retrofitado com novos motores e controlado pelo codesys ou ROS. Ainda nao decidi.

      Não posso comparar porque nunca trabalhei com o ROS. Mas já trabalhei em um projeto em que foi usado um controlador de eixos baseado no Codesys para controlar um robô antropormófico de 4 eixos. Posso dizer que funciona. Quando terminar publique o video! Boa sorte com o seu projeto!

    Oi. Parabens pelo projeto. Os inversores de frequência controlam os servos motores do Robo ? Ou controlam outros motores que nao sao do Robo ?

      Olá Roque. Obrigado! O robô possui servo motores que são ligados a um controlador de eixos dedicado. O Raspberry Pi apenas comunica com este controlador de eixos através de uma rede industrial. Neste caso, os inversores controlam outros motores que não são do robô.
