This may help. My neighbor has an 05 2500 Ram with a replaced cluster out of a 4wd with an alarm system. Hers originally is a 2wd without alarm system. I disconnected battery to clean terminal and every since the alarm comes on with opening door or when key is turned to ON position. The truck will start and run with lights falshing and horn blaring. I pull up fuse #51 and push back in and it stops as long as key is turned back to ACC or OFF. As soon as the key hits ON position, it goes off again.

Absolutely. Huge, thank you to you my man, you just saved my fucking ass. I had the exact same issue. I'm guessing closed the door to hard pop that sensor off the alarm wouldn't quit Put it back on , unlock the door everything is fine trucks running , you are a beautiful man

All you need to do is ground out that wire. Mine was wasted

My driver side key hole dont work or when i auto lock only the passager side works i just got a 1999 ram an the key only works in the passenger side well i auto locked it an left my driver side unlocked i hoped in after work an the horn is going off i disconnected the horn too figure this all out definitely just had too lock the passenger side door an unlock it with my key an she started right up. Amazing information thank you!!!

I was online for hours trying to figure out why my 98 dodge 2500 4x4 would only crank and shut down along with the horn and lights going on an off becoming very frustrated. Then your video pops up and that’s exactly what the problem was! We reconnected the switch at the keyhole and viola the truck is running again!!! Thank you so much for sharing this video!

When you triggered your door lock switch did it light up the dash like the key was turnt? Because this might be my issue with my power door locks that aren’t working at all. When I hit my lock switch I hear a clicking noice and lights on the dash come on like I’m turning my key to start the truck
