You don't hit them at same time. Jump a frame before slide

You can learn ninja button layout and have crouch as toggle instead hold

i don't get it, i have 25% success rate if i go forward, but i can't do horizontal superglides, they are so hard i hit 1 in 50! and ppl do double horizontal superglides in a row during fights, HOW?!!?

Imo, you know you hit a super glide when your FOV scales out a bit in the air. The legs thing doesn't help you learn when you're practicing in first-person. Nice tutorial regardless!

So I play on controllers and have always been a movement freak. Everything from superjumps to mantle jumps. Only since 120fps came to console I can't do the timing anymore. All steps are fulfilled only it's very rare that I can do a superglide. And that surprises me because it was wonderful before.

Can you do this without having hold to crouch on?

You wanna actually learn how to superglide on controller? Heres the secret sauce: Set crouch to a trigger, mine is on L2. Then you can change the deadzone of the trugger to fit your liking, but i have 0 deadzone set on it. Now you set jump to R3 and punch to x, or whatever you feel comfortable with. This not only allows you to jump and strafe while gunfighting because you never have to take your right thumb off the thumbstuck, but its also means you can press jump and crouch at the same time and you get a superglide almost every time. Since the trugger takes time to depress, if you press them at the same time you almost always hit the 1 frame window.

Quick tip! After 1000 hours I found for it to work for me on console, I have to hit jump button right before pressing crouch doesn't work when I press at same time

What ive found that works good is to, aim while manteling then when the mantle cancels the aim then superglide

Crouch doesn’t need to be on hold if you gonna just hold crouch anyway, yes i super glide without it being on hold

Having crouch on hold doesnt do anything. It doesnt matter what setting you have it on

I actually use toggle crouch and it works just as well
