This is the first video of my trip to Walt Disney World in early December 2024. This first part focuses on the Magic Kingdom area & the seasonal fun to be had there. Join my friend (and new guest!) In September, Somewhat Savvy and I ventured aboard the Disney Magic to take part in the Halloween on the High Seas festivities and to check out Disney's newest island destination in the Bahamas, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. How did you get a cabana?!? I thought those book up with the concierge guests.
@@LeahKingM I thought the same thing! Honestly, I just got lucky. Was randomly looking at port adventures one day maybe around a month or so before the cruise, and there were multiple cabanas available. As a lowly Castaway Club Silver member, I was shocked!

@@joesilver5144 I have yet to find a pumpkin Old Fashioned that was satisfactory in the pumpkin department. But as an Old Fashioned, this was perfectly fine. They definitely took me seriously when I asked for less syrup, though. It was veeerry Bourbon-forward! 😆

You are correct about the Mickey’s Festival of Foods it is 100% better than the deck food on the classic and Dream class ships! Luckily it will be on the Treasure & possibly the Destiny!

@@pamdalesio1751 Ooh, I’ll be honest, I didn’t even look into whether a single day pass was available since I knew I wanted to go multiple days. I actually reserved our length-of-cruise passes ahead of time on the app. I do believe there was a single day option the first time I sailed on the Wish, but that was last year. @@akebjornblad9478I’m accumulating a bit of a backlog. Next episode after this one will be a shorter one covering our stay at Disney’s Old Key West Resort before our cruise. Beyond that, I’ve currently got Typhoon Lagoon/H2O Glow/Caribbean Beach Resort and a Yacht Club Resort stay already shot. I work overtime to make these trips happen, but that doesn’t leave a lot of time for editing. 🙃

I took my very first trip to Disney World a few years back during the 50th and went Solo. It was so nice to do my own thing and at my pace. I’ll be back in Disney this week for another Solo vacation. Great video again. Looking forward to future videos

I went to Disney for the first time. I went during the 50th and Fort Wilderness cabin was my first choice stay. Brings back great memories. Hope to go back one day. I’m glad I found your channel and I subscribed. Great job!
My first trip (aside from a childhood trip I barely remember) was also during the 50th, and I've been hooked ever since. My first trip to Fort Wilderness, I stayed in a tent...and also forgot to put the rain fly up during our park day during which there was an afternoon downpour. Needless to say, the cabin was much nicer. 😅 Thank you for watching!

We love staying at the fort when we go to Disney. We stayed in the cabins the first time but ever since we rent a camper when we stay. They’ll deliver it and set it up for you. Oh btw that don’t record thing on guardians is a joke well everyone takes it as a joke lol, a lot of people record on it.
I guess the Xandarian sarcasm when he says “I am very serious about this” went over my Terran head, haha.
